We went to the doctor this morning because I was dizzy and feeling like crap yesterday (I have a double ear infection & sinus infection) and Audrey has been really fussy and ate 10oz LESS than usual yesterday...and she's got an ear infection.

She's been asleep since we got back from the doctor's at 11:30. I am just going to let her sleep.

Here's a lovely video of her at 2:25am this morning...

Oh my little brats. I've had a broody silkie who was upsetting a couple of the girls by using their favorite nest box apparently. I'd thought they quit laying as they were two of my last four EEs laying. Bah! Found a hidden nest with a dozen eggs today.

At least it appears that after three weeks with no eggs, the silkie gave up today. She was out all day and did not return to the nest but up onto a roost.

Thanks! I loved a line you wrote in a recent post about 'farming while clumsy' - completely cracked me up! And if I can get a bale of hay in my Honda Civic, I'm sure your DH won't have any problems getting one in his Camry

Well, the boys at Del's will get it in; I'm rather concerned about getting it out, though.

Oh my, she seems to be in alot of pain at 3 AM..................colicky????????????
Poor little angel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sad.png

I had the colicky deal going on with my first, always at about 4 PM.........the hotest part of the day in San Jose Ca.........and still, stripping her naked & a warm hot water bottle on the tummy worked, but dinner was always late.......it started when she was about 2-3 mo old and was suddenly over about 5 mo old as I remember.
Weird, stressful, agonizing......hard to get ready to go to work.....not alot you can do.
Sorry Heather, but remember, 'this too, will pass'
