Are you doing the solution in their water?
If so, is "this" seeming to run through the flock?
The individuals that "get it" would be those with immunal systems unable to deal with the organism.
The rest are probably OK and immune.
In the order of all things written on this disease, you should cull...........as MG can be passed down hen to chick via the egg.
I am not sure if a cockeral can pass it to the egg, I do not think so.
In the situation you describe, I have always drawn Tylan 50 injectible and given it IM in the breast, once, and any MG is knocked right out, providing I had the solution in the water.
But after recovery, said bird would come down with "it" again a few months later.
Some birds I had to do this with for over a year.
Realizing that their eggs hatched would produce a chick carrying the same disease is what prompted me to cull, despite the fact that they were my favorite hens.
Case in point: Cathy, my favorite Cuckoo hen, laid a monster XL-Jumbo dark brown speckled egg daily, all year.
She had more silver in her neck than others, and was easy to spot, and a floppy comb.
She was comical, clumsy & lovable.
She was so friendly & in our face always!
I then hatched eggs, and we got a pullet chick that looks exactly like her, most definetly Cathy's baby.
I had to save Cathy several times via Tylan injectible.
And then one day the pullet at 5 mo old started sneezing...........
I put Cathy down...she went to the cull pit with a few cockerals that had to go.
Sad, but it has to be, otherwise that disease will be passed down.
I am MG free now, and if ever I hear a sneeze & watch the bird to see...and if it has the symptoms, it is history.
My opinion & the opinion of many other breeders........and to fair to buyers.
Who wants to sell chicks or eggs that may have been MG tainted ?
Not me!

*** Edited to add:::::::: baytril will not get rid of MG.
Denagard will try, but sometimes won't either.
I have in the past always given the shot of Tylan first, then follow up with denagard in the water afterwards.

He's been in the oven for 30 minutes now, and the kitchen smells heavenly. I love chicken soup, specially with dumplings

And the Icees, Robin they are wonderful! HWMBO only let me keep 2 cockerels but they are both doing fine. I kept Beau, and the spangled one with the white hackles and saddle. I've named him "Spike". I kept Jane's name, and the blue pullet is now Tango (she dances so prettily) and the pheasant girl is Pala (Icelandic for small)

The boys are so happy with all these girls around and have already started to do their duty

Oh, and Spike, yes, he sighs all the time - it's really funny!

Spike sighs when he is excited!
It does not slow him down though..you probably noticed how he sighs when he is chasing women!!!!!
lol.png

We called him Birchen boy.
Did you contact reMrra about cockerals?
Rachel in E.WA mentioned to me that she was short cockerals....have not seen her on lately.........I will ask her if you like.

You ought to look into these Bantam Barnsvelders I got from Birdsnbeasts..like Seremas, they are adorable, quiet & small, but so beautiful, even the hens in this breed are laced & lovely, not just the cockeral.
Karen reports that they lay quite a large egg, ranging from a commercial medium to large size.
Since they are a wittled down version of Large Fowl, their eggs remain quite large, unlike true bantams which have an egg to match.
I am loving these guys more everyday, small poop, hardly eat 1/6 of what the equivilant in Large Fowl would egg....and they are nice, but do not underestimate the cockerals, they are all man, and protect their ladies thusly!!
lol.png

I told Karen, wow, I can have 2X as many chickens if they be bantams..and she said NO, you can have 4-5X as many in the same space & use the same feed.
So....something cool to look into.

Sounds very similar to what I have with my RIR B. But I have to admit I like the colors of the Barnies better. Colors is all I see in a bird otherwise they are all built the same to me.

I just don't see animal conformation.

Read this, everyone read it.

http://poultrykeeper.com/chickens/health/mycoplasma-gallisepticum.html

And please note, just because one of your birds comes down with it, does NOT mean it was from MG infested broodstock!
You can get it in your own front yard, from wild birds.
It is particularly nasty here during fall & spring when migrating birds can bring it in, same as mites & other lovely diseases.
