I wound up making around 4 pounds of fudge, and somewhere around 18-20 batches of cookies... Im all baked out, still recovering from the weekend, and trying to rest up for this upcoming weekend... My Mother and her fiance have around 40 people coming over for New years, and I will more than likely be the ONLY sober person over 21 there... Yippy, but it can be alot of fun watching everyone else interact while drunk. Plus someone needs to play ref. lol But even if I wasnt preggers, I would still be sober. lol

Jeez sounds like my family over in MI, bunch of wild Irishmen... oh yeah and Polocks ( hope that doesn't offend any one cause I r one!!) They can't do anything without booze! I myself have been sober for going on 7 yrs now, and yes it is a source of amusement to watch people at a party, although, more than not anymore it annoys me!! LOL but, I had a Navy buddy recently get ahold of me on FB, he started sending pics of when I was at my first duty station, yea, can't say I abstained back then, there was too much proof! Good thing I'll never run for office!! LOL!!!

Thats sounds about right! I am quite litterally the only one in my family who doesnt drink, but for maby once per year. Everyone else its a daily habbit. Though I am no angel when it comes to drink. Ive had my fun, it just doesnt DO anything for me anymore, no apeal. It can get anoying, mainly when its my DH, but yeah I have my reasons to be quite snippy about him drinking.

Julie, sorry to hear about the hip thing. I have been having a weird hip pain thing going on too. Started seeing a chiropractor earlier this month for back issues, and was hoping that would fix the hip too. So far, not yet, but I'll be seeing him a lot for the next two months and won't give up hope yet. If it's not resolved by then, I'll be starting the path you are on to figure out what's up with it.

So sad. We also just hatched 5 serama's out this weekend from out own birds. 1 black one and 4 yellowish one's I think are going to be wheatonish. Anxious to see how they grow out!

I think CR is busy with his new pocket chicken that Laura/Castle Delights delivered to him and Diane today.
Had to take DD Shannon to the Dr today. The kids have swapped around a head cold amongst themselves and DH since they got off for break. Her's has moved into her ears and she still sounds awful. They said she has a mild ear infection so we have a RX if we need it. We'll give it another day and see if she heals up on her own. So far, knock on wood, I haven't caught the crud yet.
Anybody want to buy my flock of project lavender Orps? I've got Oscar the roo and 3 ladies. One of the ladies is a bit runty looking compared to the other two, but they all lay well. They are about 16 months old. I desperately need the space, so PM me if anyone is interested. If I get no response here, I'll be posting on Facebook/CL soon.
