ON A HAPPIER NOTE... remember the colt that was born here in April? Waylon, my stud horses first foal has been growing like a weed, here he is at 8 1/2 months old!!

I am really liking him a lot, he is put together very nicely and has really nice bone and muscle. happy with him. going to have to get him cleaned up this spring and start marketing him. and just so you know, I am 5'4 and am leaning on his shoulder scratching his chest...

For the information of All Hands: Anyone looking to buy a late Christmas present for themselves or someone else in the form of photography gear, I may have some helpful info for you.

I just spent about 6 months researching cameras, lenses, flashes, you-name-it. In doing so I came across some excellent sites which allow you to do a side-by-side comparison of various brands/models and see the similarities/differences according to each of the various specs. There were also sites that provided indepth reviews on same. I also looked at a half dozen to maybe a dozen different sites to purchase from.

Even though I still wound up spending over three grand for everything, I could have easily spent another $1500-2000 for the same stuff if I hadn't taken the time to research everything like I did. So I'm offering to pass on what I learned to anyone who might be in need of such info. If interested, email me as I don't frequent this thread much.

boy did we kill this thread or what????? am thinking everyone is watching the huskies game, or the gloom made them all go to bed early... Thank you CR for the nice words about my colt. I swear he is sneaking the miracle grow out of the garage... absolute monster. how much ya wanna bet by the time he is 3 , if I took the same pic you would barely see the top of my head if at all??

Well, I was going to tell you my sewing tote adventures have about come to an end, everytime I think I have my machine figured out, it does something stupid and either breaks the thread, or gets jammed!! I want to throw the piece of applesauce away!!!! I have yet to sew anything without being stopped because of one issue or another!!

This would be why I get frustrated and don't finish anything!!!

I'm sorry, but that is so funny to me!!!

Soul - I don't know. Sometimes when I see a spectacular sunrise I think soul, or when I hear a wonderful pieceof music. I don't know if it means soul, or something entirely different.

I'm reading a book right now called "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. Very interesting.

My issue with "Soul", is where does it come from? How does it get into me. Do evil persons not have one?

Yes CGG - too many philosophical questions and not enough answers. But don't feel sad - even if I really don't have a soul, I'm a rather nice, caring person

Check out the DVD called Expelled. It is interesting too!

Is he AQH ?? Hey you should see a couple of the ponies over at the stables. I am 6' and I have to stretch to see over thier withers. The tallest 2 are TB and the shorter of the 3 is a Shire. All are Pleasure horses.
