Crimany, it's is just a school, and a team with it.
Albeit a bit uppity & out of reach for my kids.
But then, they are (were) just middle income white kids with really good grades

I love the Ducks though, if for nothing else than the fact that I love oregon as a whole, and the fans are outstanding!!!
I am so very happy they finally won the Roses!!!!!!!!

Well, today has been raining nonstop, and I mean nonstop, and the wind has been WILD. Still is.

Hope everyone else is okay.

It was actually pretty nice here most of the day, and there's still not much wind. I'm glad, too, because I got a bunch of fiddly stuff done without having things blown all over the back yard.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Illia, the BCM laid an egg! Yay!
Still waiting for the Wheaten and I imagine the others are still a bit young.

CR - your website is looking good! I'm so happy for you. The photos are terrific.

Thanks to all who keep me so entertained.
Go purple! Be gold!

Anyone else want to exchange seeds? or share seeds? or?

Have you guys had any experience with green zebra tomatoes?? I just saw it on The Victory Garden?? They say they are sweet like red ones, they are just green?? Just curious, I wouldn't even know where to get something like that??

I have tried raising Green Zebra. The problem has been the fact that I started the seeds to late in the year, and of course there just hasn't been enough heat on the soggy side of WA. But I am going to give it another go this year, and I am planning to start earlier. I have all the tomato seeds that I am planning to grow this year. So at this point I am looking for other types of veggies.

Well I managed to get the coop cleaned out, and the finch cage cleaned up. Both had become way to nasty. It was very nice here today. It did start to sprinkle just as I was finishing the coop. I also had to clean up the mess that the wind storms made. There were a lot of little branches from the willow trees. I had to clean them up before I could get in to the coop.

I also cleaned up a huge batch of dishes. With all the cooking there were more than normal dirty dishes. I still have more to clean up the kitchen. I will have to do it tomorrow.

I got some very good pictures of the black Silkies, and the Light Sussex chickens. I am going to post them on craigslist. If they don't sell, I will need to take the Silkies to the auction. I think I will hold on to the Sussex until they get a good home. I am hoping to get a porcelain Silkie roo to breed with Miss Tulay. She is a very good mother to the chicks.
