I just did a search on you and you don't exist.

Reminds me of the pome

The other day upon the stair
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away

(you aint one of those are you?)

No not totally open...pop door size to help hold in the heat. We used 2x4 and plywood and then covered wit hay to make the roof. Trying to keep insulated and warm.

Hay absorbs moisture very easily. The warmth of the heat lamp and humidity their bodies puts off can help mold along. I would just keep an eye out for it. Maybe even spores now that you can't see. I house juveniles in a 10x12 horse stall. They are on rubber mats covered in shavings. When I clean there is always moisture on the rubber mat under the heat lamp. It's very open with lots of air circulation and I still will get a few sneezes occasionally. The sneezes don't stick around long but seem to crop up mostly in the winter. Not really sure what it is from. Maybe just a little irritation.

This is exactly what I think is going on....I just wish I had somewhere else to put them. They are actually all looking real good tonight. Eating good. I will kick them out this weekend if the weather is nice.

Yes.
If they are newly started birds freshly moved out into the world, and suddenly no longer on Chick Starter, watch out for Cocci !
Give them Corid in their water 1/4 tsp per gallon , 1 week on & 1 week off for the next few weeks to make sure they gain immunity to the bugs.
They cannot build immunity when on full chick starter as the Amprolium in it kills all the bugs.
So now they can come across the bugs & have no defense.
The weaning off of Chick Starter can be difficult...sometimes I move a started bird out into a big pen & forget they are not ready to deal with Cocci....make sure you don't forget!
Otherwise sounds like you are doing fine !!

yes ma'am....I do remember this. I am watching and being careful. I am going to mix the chick start and the other start together. Tonight they were outside and looked all good. So I am feeling better. But I really want them out of the hay coop as soon as possible

eta: It they were not already the size of my small layers I woiuld have just kept them inside where they were warm and safe....but they are huge already.l

For some reason, I thought you were in Hawaii..............so you are home???

off to Maui in a month, will be there at least a couple of months, depends on what the doctor says and whether we can find a decent tenant for a change

Well if all goes well, I should have something worthy of entering.

I have a couple of potential entries now, however I know the competion is fierce.

Yes, but a National is special- one goes to exhibit as much as to win. Are you a member of the Araucana club??
