It all takes more Cash...lumped insurance in your case might not be good at all.
In his case, if he has a record, getting him off your policy will make your payment go down....but do not let him ever have the truck again !!
This happened to Toni, her SD a$$ truck stopped working & he never even popped the hood but took her car away....he gave her a ride to work (what a nice guy!!) and sat at home all day & picked her up when she got off work.
He ended up selling his truck to some guy...and it turned out to be a no brainer to fix it.

So far our rates aren't bad but he has had a lot of claims so our insurance would be a lot cheaper without them. I thought lumped insurance was all there was for married and maybe they wouldn't believe me when I told them DH would not be driving? I'm afraid to ask. Wont they wonder why? Maybe go to another company and tell them I'm single. Is that fraud?

maybe tell them you are married but do not let him have your vechicles under any circumstance.
See what happens.
I'd file for divorce, seriously...do ya think he will actually leave you???????
He is dependent on you!!!!!!
But this is my mouth running off...so I am outta here.

I'm so with you on this. I once lived in a village in England, it was pretty small. It was so small our street was called "The Street", well it was the only street we had. No house numbers, names only. Our house was "Eileanach" (Gaelic for Eleanor). So our address was

Eileanach
The Street
Cressing, Essex

Our phone number was (Silverend) "65".

ok.... I found a place to get a some free IBC's
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermediate_bulk_container

BUT and its a big one.....

BUT it has been used to handle sodium methylate in a methanol solution so not food grade and dangerous unless I can find a way to deactivate the little bit at the bottom of the tanks......

So.....
anyone here who is a chemistry nerd????

Care to share with me how to derivative it safely? So I can use it as garden/fish tanks?
I am not going to drink from it but would like to use it to produce edibles.....

Hi Chickie;

I'm here, just in a mood where I am feeling totally frustrated and useless, so I spent the day whacking down blackberry vines in my yard. I got quite a bit accomplished there.

Mom wants no visitors right now. Grrrr. She complains that we don't visit, and then when we try and arrange a visit, she sends us away. When she had the surgery where they left the clamps in, my brother drove 5 hours so he could be there for her, but she refused to see him and after 2 days he went home. Her doctors usually do call us just for advice on how they may get her to try any kind of a pain med; she is a very stubborn woman. For now she just prefers that I call her. I am going to call her new Dr. on Tuesday and find out what is going on. I will let you know when I do go down, car-pooling would be nice. I'd like to go down in February when the kids have mid-winter break. I think my boss will be understanding. Mom does not want anyone coming over until after she is home from surgery, and the surgery has not yet been scheduled.

The new Dr. said that he is going to have her stay at a hotel near the hospital where he works so he can do a bunch of exams and bloodwork and other stuff before the surgery. He is also sending an Occupational Therapist to her house to make any necessary modifications for hand rails and such (Mom is an OT and used to do these evaluations herself). He does not want her back in her house until the modifications are made. She is a little annoyed by that as she likes to stay at home, and does not want anyone messing with her house. She already had grab rails installed around the tub and toilets, but she needs a safer way to get in and out of her shower. Right now it has an 18 inch tall wall to step over. (Tile tub/shower combo)

I'm guilty too of not listening to Mom's complaints. She is so much like the boy who cried wolf because she always has something to complain about, and it is always drama, and the most terrible thing. I assumed her complaints about pain was mom being mom. I did not recognize that her complaint is very real.

As far as the tax stuff goes, I got between 93 and 100 on my exams, but I have not taken enough classes to take the IRS Enrolled Agent exam. There is another IRS exam I must take at some place in the spring. I'm not worried about that one as I have already passed all the H&R classes that cover the material in that exam. I was hoping to take then EA next summer or fall, but I don't think I will be able to complete all the classes by then. I may just take another year. I can still do taxes, I just have to have a senior preparer double-check my work before it can be e-filed unless it is very simple. My mentor at work thinks I won't have any problem with the EA exam, and said I can test out of taking all the pre-requisite classes, but I would rather learn it all, even if it is not on an exam. There is a lot of info online, and online classes. They shut down alltests for the season at midninght on the 31st, so I did as many as I could that last week in addition to all the classes I took in the fall that I had to drive to. I feel confident enough in my knowledge that I feel I could do most returns our office sees, and I know when, who, how to ask when I need help. It's the people skills I need practice in - how to ask questions in a way that does not feel like an inquisition, how to make small-talk with strangers that I may find repulsive, how to keep them engaged in a conversation, and how to keep moving forward on the return without being distracted by the conversation. I'd like to just have them drop their stuff off after a short and to the point conversation, and then call them back for a review when I am done. I decided to do taxes so I could work when the kids are at school, but my boss scheduled me evenings this year as he wants me to eventually take over the more complex returns as most of the preparers in my office that work evenings are retired and each year we seem to lose another one.

I better go make Phad Thai, the kids are pestering me for dinner. I need to teach them to cook.

I am tellin ya I am so excited about the new features coming to BYC ! ! While I am a creature of habit and struggle with change I am looking forward to this new stuff.
If you are a GFM or PPM you can go to the sand box and test drive some of it.

Pretty sure that's fraud and won't work in your favor, especially if he gets in an accident. Blow and Go is a great idea, but if it's really expensive, maybie check into changing the locks or ignition switch. Some idiot tried to jack my car and I had to replace the ignition switch. I now have two sets of keys, one for the door and one for the ignition. So maybe you can change the lock or ignition, and then you have the two keys and he only has one...just thinking out loud here...
