its just when i have male chicks they always have the slow feathering and the feathering is uneven. mine would grow long tails a few weeks after the female chicks did... but the tail was still not as filled and ragged looking. Its just in my experience the odd feathering always = roo.
1) Open it up to the air - it reacts with air and the moisture in the air
2) Run away and don't inhale
3) Wait
4) Flood with water
5) Keep away and do not inhale
6) Check temp to make sure the plastic is not going to melt
7) Rinse with vinegar and see if it bubbles
Yes, it should be fine for water/garden/fish, although you should note that there may be a little extra sodium (Na) inbedded the plastic. I know that fresh water fish like a bit of salt in the water. As long as it is thoroughly rinsed. . .
Hmmm. . . Another thought, do NOT use any "cleaning" chemicals on these. All you need to do is dilute it. You know how the Drano says not to mix chemicals? Iirc that if you mix bleach with this stuff you will get cyanide gas (CN). Use acids like vinegar, etc.
Yes, once rinsed, they should be food safe.
