I was looking at my chicken treat bucket. Does anyone else feed their chickens marshmallows?

Which reminds me, CR and TC, how are the girls doing?

The 6 I got are doing fine. Four eggs nearly everyday.
Curious why the need for a treat bucket if you don't have / aren't allowed to keep chickens?

It is still sitting near the back door. I feel bad about throwing out food, so, the stale marshmallows were chicken treats.

How long after a dog goes away do you still find dog toys?

In doing research, I have found that I cannot have chickens over the age of 6 months. So, I can hatch as many as I want.

We may need to see if we can get Porcelain OEGB eggs some time next month? Because then you could hatch and deal with the phases that make me crazy, and I can pay for the eggs and the feed and take the best and you can sell the rest? Would that work for you?

Well howdy all !
We are doing little as possible here.
Our 6" melted a bit in the night & so was super slush on top of ice...awful slippery.

Then it has blizzarded several times today in between sun breaks.
had a few long hail storms.....lasting 20-30 minutes and spit bee bees everywhere.
Chookies are indoors again, playing Texas Hold Em & having left over black eyed peas.
Turkeys decided they di not like the hail storms at all, being bald & all.

Mr Tom is still asking for the stocking cap.

I am going to read a novel & cooking one of our meaties in a pot o' water to make chicken & fat home made (GF) noodles......YUMMY !!!

DH just decided he was going to the P.O. so off he went~~~~
hopefully he makes it back OK.

I guess I will spend some time looking for that Ogye breeder....

And RW::: next week to do a seed exchange ?
I have not ordered the Johnny's & lost the list !!!
Do you still have it ?
Guess we need those at the same time to do our exchange, although I can mail you your seeds.

What else....trying to remember all the posts I need to answer instead of quoting them all~~~

Dunno. I saw a "break" and made a dash for it - had to go into town for milk and stuff. Sun was shining and very nice. Came out of the store and couldn't see for the snow coming down. Had to use the car alarm to find it!

Hubby says they are closing his work tomorrow because of it. He'll work from home.

Nice chickens those Ogye. There's another one very similar - black skin and all . . .can't remember tho. . . ?

Well, from the look of the weather radar, the answer to "will it rain or snow at my house?" is pretty much "yes." I just spent an hour getting six inches of frozen-daiqueri consistency slush off the Hamburg run, and rejiggering the sheep tarp so it sheds slush. I hope. Need to feed everything and somehow get some grit on the driveway so we don't have to schlep groceries up the hill by hand.

This would be a spifftacular moment for a time machine, to go back in time and buy a nice AWD something instead of the accursed Camry, which has been prone to disaster and deer since we bought it.
