OMG!! White out!!! all the sudden it really let loose!! must be getting everything now that you all got last night!! Can't see to the road, which is usually a pretty clear view out the back door, and across the corn field!! YIKES!!! Man I wish I had a snowmobile!! If you can' t beat'em join em!!! LOL!

RRF got her Gen running and last I heard was doing OK.

Haven't heard from CL, RR, and many others for along time. I am concerned about all of you. Please we all need to stay in touch. You may be surprised how you can help from afar.

Well, snow is slowing down now, gonna check and see how many inches we have now! well I'm not going out to measure it, and I can't find it on the news anywhere!! but, I know it's a lot!! LOL

I've been trying ALL day to post, but every time I start, we get a "lectrickery" bump and lose power, just long enough to shut down the computer.

We have a generator we bought last year. After an eight day outage a couple of years back (no well pump, water, toilets, etc, but we did have a gas fire and a gas stove top) we decided we needed one.

So far, we have only had it on to test it. Still can't get out of the driveway.

Posting now before we lose power again.
Sending good thoughts to everyone.

OK we had 17" of snow so did anybody have more. Lets see who had the most. This is just for fun. Whoever had the most snowwins the grand prize of NOTHING more than bragging rights. lol

Well not me yet, make sourdough bread this morning,SD banana bread just came out of the oven, and the stuffed cabagge (Golabki) has been in for a half hour, for some reason I've been in an experiment with cooking mode!! Great for leaning, not good for the waste line! LOl!
Hang in there Haller! it'll get better!!!

Maybe it's hibernation mode!! ???
