Okay, I am still doing a lot of learning....I have 2 that are white with the black "saddle"....is this considered the mottled? Or is one more mottled than the other. I have 1 pullet and 1 cockerel that are the white with the black. We sure think the brown one is pretty....with the markings in her feathers. What is she called?

Mottled is a pure color & a pure color, Like pure black & pure white.
A splash is a gray/blue & a lighter color, as blue is a dilution of black.
You cannot have a black & white "splash" as a splash is a dilution of the darker color (in this case black)
You can see each feather is a whole color, not spangled or speckled.

So, today I got a call from a lady I sold some ducks to last November. She wanted some more, just a few. When I asked how many she said 15! (At $25 a piece, we would have made a tidy sum, but hubby won't part with a single one!) She only likes the males too.

So, off to auction next weekend to see if they have any there that we could buy for cheap and then sell.

CL. Just because your computer starts to get faster don't neglect getting more ram.
Don't go to Best Buy. That is a HUGE RIP OFF!
If you don't install yourself buy it at that link I posted the other day and have someone besides Best Buy install it.

Ok so Ive never posted pictures, well not in a long time.
So here it goes.
Hobbs looked better before the storm but here he is.. I love him and as you will see he's the guy got to be in your face to see what your doing MOM..... To big to get in my face, creeps me out knowing what they can do to you. But I love him!!!

OK, puter is still pretty fast..weird inded.
But I added 2 + 2 plus what Stumfarmer said & just told DH and he said, yeah, he had moved the computer cable today, so we could run more road base on the driveway.
We have not used that part of the driveway so we had the cable there, but it is a turnaround driveway we wanted to use again.
All my vegies & squash were grown over the top of the driveway all summer and I had the hot beds set up there.
All that was moved a few days ago & I shoveled road base all day.
So, 2 & 2 means to us that there is a break in the cable and when we moved it today we un-shorted it out ?
Can that happen ?
There was stuttering on the TV as well...only noticible when I listen to the music channels (most of the time) and a song would suddenly stop & start....

Once again "I see, said the blind man, ahem, I mean woman"

So, why all this time I contacted Comcast & they ran a test on our connectivity & said it was fine ??????????????

I will not do it myself, I am a computer idiot !!!!!!!!!
If I did I would sure enough blow it all up.
having 2 much RAM with an old processor can kill the system.
And so far, all is well !
I will still have my geek or DAWN remote access this computer & see IF it can handle more RAM.
Gotta understand, I am OLD!!!

So, MGSU sawed up some of the alders that came down - BEAUTIFUL colour interiors; rich orange. So he dried some, and tried them in the smoker. I was just standing there like a dummy smelling the smoke.

Make some good smoked salmon I think.
