OK...I am outta here to watch the dog show !
Before I go...you all have got to see the wonderful ceramics TotalColour makes...candle holders & such~~~~~ Beautiful , and I got one !!!
Had such a good time Katie AND the directions were wonderful and


We got all the big nets we need for our pens right there at Mud Bay Nursery...although techincally their name is:


Bark & Garden.............they have TONS of bird net !!!!!!!!!!

I know this is not chicken related but I did want to write that dawng and I had a wonderful time yesterday enjoying SadieSue and the rest of her talented cast entertain us in Neil Simon's "California Suite."
It was a terrific way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
I'd encourage everyone to catch her next show!

15 is not enough to last ya 1 year until the next season when it is warm enough to raise another batch.

Now that is entirely true, but I can't fit 52 birds in my freezer without using a blender

I was SO pleased to have an opportunity to meet Ruth and Dawn yesterday after the last performance of California Suite. They were an integral part of the best audience we've had during the entire 4 week run! I felt an immediate connection with these 2 beautiful women - isn't it funny how when we finally meet we can already feel like we're meeting old friends? I wanted to visit with them all night! Thank you thank you thank you ladies for making the long drive from the north to see the show. I hope we'll get to meet again soon one day for a proper visit!

That, my dear, is why you have a bigger freezer.
I have one of vegies (gets full fast in harvest season !)

And one for meat (beef, elk and deer, with selected pork) oh and crab, salmon, steelehead, trout....what have ya, razor clams, etc !

Im a serama mama to the brahma- The serama is 4 weeks and the brahma is 4 hours old. Size does matter! lol

I think it would be great if you took photos of this pair every day or every so often and made a series that shows the difference in size as they grow.
