They won't hurt you!!!

Well today was the big day that my white silkie hen has been waiting for. See she normally lays 4-6 eggs then goes broody for a month or more. Well today I put her to work earning her keep. I put her in the barn and gave her 6 RIR B eggs. At first she was not very proud of me for taking her away from her flock (RIR B). She was just throwin a big ole fit. But then after a couple minutes she settled right down on them eggs and I am confident she will do fine. So here's hopin fer my first RIR B hatch.

Seven of my eight eggs are developing! Hatching is stressful. My bff is laughing at me, and says that I was the same way when I was pregnant. I have already had a dreams about them.

Bones, from Bones, was looking at the eggs from different angles. It was basically a nightmare because she's all dead stuff.

Also, do all you breeders have a best friend that is a breeder? I think I am noticing a pattern.

Thanks for posting! Congrats to you and you boys.

I showed these to DS - he quit wrestling because there is never anyone big enough for him to wrestle here. He's 13 and probably weighs about 240. I think he's 6'5" by now. He was happy to see there is someone out there wrestling who weighs more than him and looks great. He's going to do track this spring - shotput and something else.

Thank you Julie and Ogress.

Ogress: David wrestles in the heavy wts (which the wt bracket is 285)...but I think David actually weighs around 240. But he has to wrestle up into heavy wt (285 lbs). Has done good. Almost lost it at regionals. If he gets caught under those heavy guys he has a hard time getting out from under them. David also has problems as sometimes there is not someone to wrestle him every time he goes to a match.
