So where is everyone? I took two of our kind of wild kittens in to get fixed, than on Fri Im going to do the other 3 girls.. I was told since they are wild they will fix them for free and give them shots and all that stuff. Very nice I have some money to do the two and than had to do the next 3 later but this way I can get them all done and not have to worry about more kittens...Now just have to get the mom cat and I dont know if she's even around here anymore.
OH OH my girls are just starting to lay now got9 eggs last night...

go out to you all.

Yes, pretty wet here. We look down on the Snoqualmie Valley which is turning into Lake Snoqualmie. I always worry at times like this cause the middle school is right where the Snoqualmie River and Tolt River come together in Carnation. When my oldest was there they had to do an early closure/evacuation because the rivers were coming up so high and quick!!! And traffic sucks around here during flooding because of all the road closures!!!

Haven't read posts since early evening yesterday and I am bawling! Thinking of others and their beloved pets. Thinking of my own I've had to let go. I just want to say that I am so thankful for all my peeps on BYC and all the things we share and are so there for everyone. This is truly a family!

We had our dear beloved Chloe euthanized by our horse vet who offered to come by the house at no charge! (thank you Bo) She was still wagging her tail. The dear girl. BYC is so full of people who understand the true spirit of our pets be it horse, dog, cat, chicken etc. I don't think there is anywhere there is such a group of more caring understanding people than BYC.

Abby woke up and her elbow is swollen a bit more. It doesn't seem to be painful too her though, which is good. Despite the lung cancer diagnosis, I was soooo worried about her leg, because her back legs are so arthritic/atrophied, she really needs her front legs to be in good working order. All I can do is hug her and love her I guess until the time is here.

SERIOUSLY?!?!?
It must be in the water or something. The husband is driving me nuts. If he wants a divorce...why doesn't he just say it...quit all this "skating around" the issue. He wants to make ME the bad guy so he can tell everyone that I left him. Oh, for heavens sake. Get over it already. You do or you do NOT want to save our relationship. Which is it?

Sorry, I have no one to talk to. The only way I can "talk" to him is by texting on the phone. This is insane. I am just tired.

Well my "showing" poultry will depend on what happens in the next few days. I will always have birds, but I may not have the funds to show or to come to the shows for awhile. I am just so tired of the games. I may or may not be on here for awhile...again, I may not have the time to do so for a few days.

Sorry again, needed to vent. I am so tired of all of this I cannot even cry. I am cried out over this topic. How bad is that? Okay. See you all later. I will try to get on tonight, but can't promise anything.

Just remember we are here if you need to talk to somebody. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. :-(

I survived my exam. I threw in an extra textbook to my backpack to anchor me down in this wind but i am still getting knocked around.
I hate the moment that after you turn in an exam you suddenly realize that the form i wrote down for potassium in 15-5-15 fertilizer is not just K.... its K2O5..... this exam was 120 points with 34 questions on greenhouse production.
Next on my todo list: go and apply for graduation, pay gratuation fee, drop off apple tree cuttings for the guy to sequence the DNA (been in my trunk for 2 days), then work on soils assignment due today, a paper due today, and a paper i was supposed to turn in sunday.

Poultrymom- the man across the street used some kind of sling with handles for his elderly lab. Magic has hip dysplasia and was a very heavy dog. He could barely stand up before he used this. Eventually Magic was able to walk around on his own - slowly. He is such a sweet thing, he has to come over to everyone to get some loving. He also lost quite a bit of weight which makes everything more comfortable for him.

The neighbor would hold Magic up with the sling as he walked him. I never thought he would get better, it seemed like a miracle. I know your situation is different but, as long as Abby is not suffering from severe pain,I think the sling would provide her with some mobility and raise her spirits.

I just had a brain-dead moment. I went shopping, and stopped to get gas. Now, I've been getting gas for a bazillion years, but today I FORGOT HOW! Oh, not the pumping bit, that is easy. I just couldn't figure out how to get my cards to work. How insane is that?
(So, and this is the embarrassing bit - I went to another gas station!)
