Just read through some of these posts, but thought I would say hi! I'm down in Vancouver and starting over in chicken adventures this spring with a batch of Cochins and Salmon Faverolles. Nice to meet you all!

I believe you thinking of same one as I.
It is the second exit past Marysville. The one right after the casino. Not sure if they call that Arlington or not?
We decided not to renew our Costco card as the prices seem to keep creeping up.
I do miss going there but we started checking prices two months before our renew time for Costco card and decided it wasn't really worth it anymore.
I really like Winco. Amount of money we save makes up for time and gas.
Plus I can buy so many different products out of their bins.
BTW. It is cheaper to buy bird seed in the containers you self serve above the bins then the 25 pound bags.
I just had a brain-dead moment. I went shopping, and stopped to get gas. Now, I've been getting gas for a bazillion years, but today I FORGOT HOW! Oh, not the pumping bit, that is easy. I just couldn't figure out how to get my cards to work. How insane is that?
(So, and this is the embarrassing bit - I went to another gas station!)

I think maybe you need to hibernate and wake up in Spring. Myabe your Winter of Hard Luck will have ended.
I Have yet to find the one in Chehalis Where is it.
We all get our Brain Farts. I was hoping it was a pregnancy thing, but I have not been pregnant in over 10 years.
I went to the gas station after a really long day of driving, and I couldn't find the tank opening, I was stumped and then realized it was on the other side. I'd driven the car for 3 years, so I should have known.
But my worst brain fart was when I was still working in a genetics labratory when I was 8 mo pregnant with DS. We had a client meeting, so I was wearing a pencil-skirt business suit. 6 pm, after a long day, I went into a bathroom stall, looked at my feet and started laughing hysterically. Person in the next stall wanted to know what could be so funny, was there some funny graffitti? I replied "No, I've been walking around all day and I just now noticed I'm wearing 2 different shoes!" She said " oh, I've done that before, I wore a black pump and a dark navy one."
I said "Oh, this is quite different, both my shoes are black." We walked out of the stalls and she fell over laughing. I was wearing a black pump on one foot, and a tall, lace-up boot on the other!!! I don't know why no one noticed all day. Those Belgian scientists we were meeting with must have though it was some new fad here.
Well, we had so much rain.......needless to say we have several rivers running all around us down the hill...we have springs, and usually they behave themselves, but not last night !
The one spring above the Buckeye pen blew around the pipe, and ran across their pen, through the fence into the Cuckoo Marans pen, down the hill (we are talking mega gallons per minute here !) and then it diverted & ran right into their coop door, which was closed & locked, but not water tight, and filled their coop up about 2" deep.
I just mucked it all out & laid in fresh shavings 3 days ago !!!!!!!!!!!![]()
The water ran through their coop, out the people door & down the hill past our cabin.
All the pens are freshly washed now !!![]()
After hauling buckets of wet clean shavings out to dump...mopped the left over water, dumped DE allover inside & laid in fresh shavings again.
THEN we had to hit the yard with rakes & hoes to dig little trenches to divert the water.....
THEN we gave all the babies their Marek's vaccine.
Then DH went to town only to find the slide had slid.........You who came here last summer remember that they had the road closed for months while the DOT "fixed" the hill side & added drain pipes, etc ?
Well.it all slid again & all day BIG double dumps have been ripping by with loads of the snotty clay/sandy mud.
So to get to town we have to drive the other way toward South bend & back up 101 to Raymond...17 miles round trip where the other way is 3 miles round trip![]()
Great ! Just in time for gas prices to escalate !!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Oh well, not much we can do about it !

Yes that is the one I meant. I looked at their store locator and saw they also have one in Everett. I'll have to check it out!
