Good Morning Folks,

I have a peeper breaking through! It will be a huge let down for my four y/o boy. He thinks dinosaurs are going to hatch.

I am also wondering what the hours are because it's on St. Patrick's Day, and Scotch-Irish chicks gotta get their corned beef on.

Really, i was trying to reply to the quotes above, but this forum is just too slick for me at 3:34 AM

That's the truth. I'm bringing a gf with me but we won't be able to stay long as she's hosting a corned beef dinner/poker party with all the fixings that evening. So we have to get home in time to get dinner on for all of the guests!

Good Morning Folks,
Today is hatch day. I am wondering how long you let your incubator run before you decide that an egg is not going to hatch? I thought I'd ask you folks, before I go sorting through threads.

If you were me. I waited more than a week after I thought that the eggs would hatch. But then I did put the eggs in lock down a week early. Normally I go at least 2 to 3 days. By that time you have too start pulling hatched chicks out anyway. So at that point I candle and listen to the remaining eggs. Often you can hear a live chick peeping. Of course you have to get the egg back in the bator and the humidity back up very fast.

You nailed it!

Simon loves to share the horse grain, and our filly spit out the Ivermectin onto her food. Simon must have gotten enough to affect his vision. The timing certainly matched. We went to Northwest eye specialist yesterday at least armed with a possible explanation and she agreed. He was already getting some of his vision back in his left eye while we were there and she expects him to fully recover over the next few day.

Today he is seeing well enough to get around the house and go with me up to the barn to help feed.

Thank you for the heads up. We are all doing so much better.

It is amazing how much this group helps. I am so happy that Simon is going to be okay.
