I Forgot to mention that after 26 years and 11 months and 10 days the DD FINALLY move OUT on her own !!!!

BUT its only a little one bedroom and I don't see the DW suitcases packed so I guess shes NOT going with her

So with the DD gone !! that brings up a little problem. "What to do with her bedroom???" See, her bedroom was an old 10 ft X 23ft lean-to on the back of the garage. My best friend and I turned it into a real cute little bedroom. The DW wants to keep it as a spare bedroom.

I WANT to turn it into a CHICKEN coop

just think how many MORE chickens I could get ????????? 30 maybe even 40

she said NO WAY

I mean come on, Its NOT like I was going to put it right under the roost

the only one that would use the spare bed would be her twin sis and her hubby

And I told DH but he forgot & is now somewhere outside building a carport or something...so had to answer PMs & Qs about egg sales, etc & say HOWDY WA PEEPS !!!!!!!!!!!!

If I do not get on here everyday & post, CR will pass me by in numbers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

get a small shallow pan and put rubbing alcohol in the bottom. Just enough to barely cove the bottom of the pan. Then start rolling the mouse through the RA. It should help. You could dry the ball off if you want to on a paper towel. But it will quickly dry by itself. Or just go borrow a very small screw driver from your DH and do it yourself. It is super easy to fix, I have done it many times.

Come too think out it, maybe this why I now have a wireless optical mouse.

Hey guys! Audrey's napping....DH & I went out to breakfast--left Audrey with the grandparents...then we went to Wal-Mart and got a few things and DH is convinced that Audrey needs a "Gator" (Power Wheels).

Although it does have a dump bed on it (that works) so she could clean her out coop! LOL

Thanks for all of the e-mails regarding my birds...I think I have the incubator and the Crevecoeur flock sold...as well as my bantam Houdan. I am still needing to part with a pair of Golden Laced Cochins and the mille fleur bantams as well as the Sussex. I'm hoping someone will buy them at the show, if they're not "pre-sold" first.

Other than that--my in-laws are thinking about getting back into cattle but they're set on the Scottish Highlands--anyone know anything about them???

The only thing I know about the Scottish Highland cattle is that they are one of the cutest beaties in the world.

I guess I also know that they are great for small farms. The SC cattle are the only type of cows I think I would ever really want to have. You must post pictures of the herd, if they get them.

Anybody see the article about 50,000 Abandoned chickens found in Modesto, Calif. the hens had not been fed in two weeks, they could only save 2,000. the owner of the egg farm said they wer going out of the egg business and had over looked these chickens. the farm produced 12 to 15 million eggs a year.

OMG!!! That's ridiculous!!! Jeez in place like CA where the animals are more important then people?? Hmm.. something wrong with that!!! sorry just my opinion!! Some Celeb didn't come in and rescue them???? WOW!!! NO seriously, that is terrible!!!
How can you OVER LOOK 50,000 chickens???
