hi everybody!

The escaped rooster is still on the loose - apparently he is hanging closer to the original area so hopefully we can snag him! Thank goodness for someone else's nice neighbors!

I am wondering if anyone has fresh goat milk that they would be willing to bring to the monroe show? I'd like to try making EIEIO soap (goats milk and eggs!)

I could trade cranberry-fig scented lotion bars, oatmeal, milk, & honey lotion bars, bubble bath bars (lush type), and/or some of my first batch ever of olive/palm/coconut "oatmeal, milk & honey" scented soap. Or cash of course! Let me know if you're interested

I was sitting in my office doing the BYC thing, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a movement. I looked up and saw a WHOLE FLOCK of chickens, staring in my window, and they were MINE, and grinning at me, just like this . . .

Now, my office is on the east side of the property, and the yard and coop is on the west side - so how they managed to get all this way I have no idea.

I lured them back, found the "escape route" and blocked it up. Spike the Roo was the hardest to get back, he didn't want to go home till all the ladies were back. What a pain.

When I was a kid we used to vacation in California almost every year. I remember seeing chickens there that played tic tac toe, and won, every time.

You mention that your mouse is old. If/when you get a new mouse make sure it has the same kind of plug as you need. Older ones have a round plug, newer ones plug into the USB port.

No, he's an Icelandic. You probably are too young, and maybe didn't get them over here, but back in the "OLD" days of radio in England we had a show called "THE GOON SHOW". They comprised, Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe, and SPIKE Milligan. Then later, they became the "Telly GOONS".

Spike Milligan was my favourite, and for some reason, this cockerel reminds me of him. (He does have a small crest, and the ladies have crests too)

(I'm getting some Brabanter eggs from Hallerlake soon - got to have MORE crested chickens!)

I drove 1 1/2 hrs to WalMart in Aberdeen & got a mousie with the same USB and it has a light, not a ball...and works great !!!!!!

BUTTT it is hyper sensitive, and the wee movement sends the curser off the page ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~GONE! So, I have to get used to it I guess !

You should be able to go into the Control Panel, into Mouse, and adjust the speed of the pointer. On mine it is in the Pointer Options tab.
