Just got a message from Bothell Feed Center about new chicks too!

Just a heads up, the chick delivery that was scheduled for Wednesday March 7th arrived today. We currently have: Ameracaunas, Golden and Black Sex Links, Silver and Gold Laced Wyndottes, Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, Amber Whites, and Speckled Sussex.

Going to go do something...I got my order from GreenhouseMega Store today.bought 3 sets of 10 nursery pots for garden starts.great place to shop !

Oh, and I have some one year old BEAUTIFUL big pheasants, 2 males, 1 female, much prettier than usual with a lot of teal on them, that I have to sell due to the snow taking out all my netting. These are really nice pheasants, not crazy, unhappy pacers like some. I don't want to list them on the auction as I may be taking them to the auction tomorrow... so just thought I would ask if anyone on here wanted them...

If you are using windows, under control panel, hardware, mouse is a tab called "Pointer options" in which you select a pointer speed via a slider. That will allow you to reign in the mouse.

I guess I will have to go sploring & see if I can slow down my Porche Targa mouse !

Not alot else going on today but cleaning started bird pens (RonB's babies are getting awfully big !)
Also have to gut & clean out the Buckeye coop which is full of older started Buck babies.................
And expecting 4 doz eggs to hatch from Srucon, hopefully before they get too old~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh and trying to decide a "new" recipe for baked chicken tonight...what sounded good was Orange zest & crushed almond crusted ?

Friend just called to say there is a "poultry auction/exhibition" 2:00 on Sunday at mason county fair grounds (this sunday). Says it is from "flocks from all over the U.S." Saw advertisement at Feed Store. Contact person's name is "Larry".

Any idea what this is? Did someone buy some chicks from a hatchery and resaling them? Just curious... Want to know if worth driving too.

I was going to go to this but from what I was told, Larry is a judge at some county fairs and has purchased a bunch of different breeds of chicks, has partly raised them and is now selling them. It is at the fairgrounds, but its all his birds. I was hoping to take a few roos there but I dont think I will go, since I don't think there is any auction other then his own, I don't need anymore birds right now. If you are in the market, I would hope that he has some healthy birds, if he truly is a judge. I hope i have the info correct and that the gal that gave me the info is correct.

Iam soooo sorry for your loss . I lost the first dog Ive ever owned jadie girls this summer . I came home from a friends birthday party and she was gone at least she went on her own terms... just writing this post about her makes me want to cry and im one of those macho bike guys ! My poor boxer pup was standing their watching over her when we got home.. We stayed up all night to lay her to rest on her favorite spot on our property.. the boxer pup roscoe is happy and healthy but it did take a few weeks for him to snap out of it ......... thought and prayer are with ya

On another note, anyone have any leads on Golden or Silver Phoenix Gamebird newly hatched chicks? Any names you can pass on that I can check with? Oh, Please, pretty please! Please PM me ANY info or leads, thanks so much Needy Broody that is sitting on some eggs that dont appear to be hatching! UGHHHH Thanks!
