glad you get to come to Monroe!! I got a houseful already or I would give you my couch!

LOL... thank you. Not sure what I will do if I cannot get ahold of my cousin. But I have a couple of weeks to try. Do you know are they doing some kind of youth fitting and showing type thing? I think they did last year. My daughter would llike to participate if they are.

Son is a good kid...just took the wrong path for awhile. Just 3 months until graduation..just 3 months. I keep telling him that. Just get your diploma and then you can do what you want. He is looking into the armed forces. It is so funny, one second he is so mature and smart..next second ....stupid teenager. Makes me laugh.

For those of you who do not follow facebook, or who are not on my page.

I let my Dusty dog go on Febuary 29th. That had to be the hardest day I have had yet. Much harder than anything else I have endured, and just as painfull as losing a human family member. I am feeling better about my decision now that she is no longer in pain. But letting go and saying goodby was excrutiating. I spent all day on the 29th loving on her and crying. But I know she had a pain free and piecefull end.

I rescued Dusty as a 6 week old pup, and had her with me for 12 years. She was quite litterally my first child, and I will always love and miss her.

I know the feeling I had to make that same very hard decision a couple years ago for our dog and DW's AQHA mare both the same day !

Ok, got a very strange situation with a chicken. She is pacing a 40 foot section of fence. She stops periodically, and tries to get under, or through it, then resumes the pacing. She has a huge pasture, so I have no idea why she's doing this. She is going back and forth all day and rarely stops.

I have about 22 chickens, and she's the only one behaving this way.

Any ideas anyone! (I'm worried she's not eating.)

I really have no idea but my first idea would be a very good look at the area she is trying to get to. Any chance you have a missing bird that could be over there?

Here's the info about the Poultry Auction at the Fairgrounds this Sunday:

NPIP POULTRY AUCTION
An NPIP sanctioned Chick Auction is being held on Sunday, March 4th, at 2:00 PM at the Mason County Fairgrounds. Over 60 varieties will be available and 4-H youth are encouraged to come to improve their breed and show stock. Profits from this event will go to the Youth Poultry Show at the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds in June. For more information contact Larry at 360-273-7705.

I am betting the last would begin with U he is pretty well known in the local poultry rings. I have also been told he is judge. If ya really want to know PM me I just don't like to throw names out here with out permission.

Well, my dear friends...I am 573 posts behind. I have been busy with kids and husband. I will try to catch up on a few of the messages...but if there is anything I should know about please PM me.

My oldest is moving home. He called us the beginning of the week and says he needs mom's structure and discipline or he knows he will not graduate high school.

Also, looks like I DID request the time off...so I am on for Monroe. Trying to get ahold of my cousin in Duval to see if I can stay with her. I will get on here and update more later. Husband and I are going to go out on a date. We are working hard on US. Things are very nice right now.

Loves and hugs to you all. I hope all is well. I am sorry for anyone who is not. I will try to get caught up and be able to participate in conversation. By for now.
