DeWayne from the gun club e-mailed the weekly updates, same old thing: Cops doing attack/hostage stuff on Wed, 4-H shooters doing fantastic & going to state champs~~~~~~~and a guy had a 336 for sale $275
So I sent DH to go look cuz I was busy~~~~~~

And he got it for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This comes with a leather scaberd case, and 2 boxes of shells....so we bin shooting !
Funny the .22 does not bother the birds or dog, the 30-30 upsets them, and the cannon WinMag makes all run for cover LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since it was so nice out yesterday I decided I needed to take a few pics. The first one is on the left my blue Am B pullet from Cloverleaf. She is right at 5 months.


And My RIR B the camera just doesn't do this rooster any favors. He has much more or the irredescent green going on than what it looks like here.

AND GUESS WHAT????? I woke up this morning and we got babies!!! there are 2 of the RIR s and 1 of the B AMs
and a bunch more pippin!! yea!.......

Well, apparently something logged me out of everything again last night. I'm sure I'll be finding things for the rest of the week, again.

Oh, argh, facebook, I hate signing in there.

Anyway, seriously happy that I filled all the outside feeders and got the sheep hay yesterday, because nothing on the satellite or radar makes me happy about the weather. Of course there's also the fact that I've got one more cow who looked at 5pm yesterday as if she'd calve in the next 12-18 hours, so I can't just hide from the weather.

Stupid weather.

Ya, funny, my son with a learning disability who has had an IEP all 13 years of school who we are trying to get SSI for who can't drive and there are no buses that come out here got a jury notice. I have half a mind to sick my son on them for their stupidity! Unfortunately there is no one to give him a ride since the day he's supposed to start my my DH has another shoulder replacement surgery. If they think my son is of sound enough mind to serve on a jury then I should just ignore the jury summons right? If they sent it to him then this able person ought to be ABLE to take care of his own business. When they come to collect him for not reporting for jury duty then I'm going to sit back and watch the sparks fly! Well, I wish, but no matter, I still protect him so I will send the form in for him and hopefully they will get it! I still get armed forces recruitment calls since my son gave them my phone number while in High School (thank you honey) I've told them they would never take him because of his disability even though he would like to do that (poor kid, wants to join the service)so take us off your list! Wish they had a place for people with disabilities in the military somewhere. Isn't that discrimination?

So I got a juror postcard in the mail from District Court. I tried to get out of it but so far, I'm still on the list for March 14th....not sure how to get out of it if I'm going to be out of town on the 16th for the show. I also have a dentist appointment on the 19th and my parents, both sisters and both sister's boyfriends are coming up on the 27th.

I said I knew most of the prosecutors and attorneys and we're pretty close to the judge (family friends), that I had a 6 month old baby and that I was going to be out of town but that didn't work. Oh and that I work at the courthouse complex so I know a lot of people.

I have to call them again when they open at 9am and see what I can do. If it was next month, I'd do it--but this month is not looking good.

Good News... I heard from my hubby last night...YAY ( hes away for military training) Hes coming home in a little less then 2 weeks... Bad news.... They had to pick the 17th to send him home. So sadly I wont be able to make it to the Monroe show....

I was looking forward to seeing all the chickens.... UGH so hopefully there will be another show sometime soon.
