Totally off topic - but interesting.

I saw what I think was a shoplifting event the other day. I was waiting in the truck at Cebellas, when a man in the opposite car spot walked up and unlocked his car. He then proceeded to strip down his shirts to bare skin (he was wearing quite a few), take some coat hanger out of the back of his car and hang up the shirts from nearest his skin.

Then he put back his outermost tee and his jacket. At first, I thought he was warm and just getting some clothes off; it was a fairly warm day. But then (I'm a bit slow sometimes) I thought to my self, "Self, why is he doing that, why doesn't he just take off his coat and throw it in the back of the car?".

Then he got in and drove off. It hit me - he was loading up on shirts and just walked out of the store with them on under his outer clothes. I was simply not fast enough to get his plate or I would have gone inside and informed the store. That's just wrong. AND, he saw me watching and was so blase about the whole thing. He had a big gut and hanging chests too, UGLY!

Possibly. I have 3 extra, and just emailed the next person on my list to see if they still want them. If they don't, they are all yours! I will let you know when I hear something for sure one way or the other. I am also loading up the incubator again this weekend and will be squeezing some in there, so in 3 wks or so I may have more.

I just candled them and they all have veins..... and I have no incubator..... I warmed up a rice pillow, put the eggs on there and then put a wet towel over them.

Got a dehydrator ?
Put the eggs in, set the temp if you can, stick a thermometer in & a wet washcloth for humdity, it should work fine.

OK somebody recently posted about feather sexing day old's. Is that only for certain breeds or does it work on all and how do you tell? Wondering if I can do it with my B RIR.

One row of wing feathers is a cockerel, two rows is a pullet.
Some breeds this does not work.

I found your posts amusing from the very first. Wow, it's been 2 years since I joined. Where has the time gone?
Just how far are you from Rochester anyway?
I have looked at coop plans till I'm nearly blind. I think I'm gonna doodle another one on paper then start the building process come next week. Of course if any of you want to drop off some 2x4 studs and full sheets of playwood (for free) don't hesitate to let me know and I'll give you directions. LOL.
Dang the little girls are cuties. They make me smile just to watch them.

Well we are home & all is well.
Biopsies were taken (it hurt despite anesthesia) and so now we waite to see if it is colitis.
Tont texted she got the check & is super happy & now is going to order her computer.

I got all my tomatoes planted in the last 2 days, and peppers, so now I waite a week & do the rest.

Except peas...peas gotta get in the ground & pea nets go up.
When that happens, no more free ranging in the garden.

So now I have an egg order to pack & catch a nap..
I am still soooooooooooooooo sleepy !

You know it would have taken me awhile to figure that one out. Im the person who would have helped him off with his shirts. ( not really but close)
