The thing about MMJ is that when prescribed for pain, it does not kill the pain. It dulls the pain receptors, has been proven to help ease inflamation.

When I was 17 I had a tumor at the base of my skull, the thing shrunk so the Dr.'s opted to do nothing about it until I was older. Now that Im older, there is no obvious growth, but because of migrains stemming from this previous condition, and also having P.C.O.S. My Dr.s have talked to me about being prescribed MMJ. I know the benefits, have tried it medically, have noticed that it does help. but when it comes to the extended apetite, it mainly breaks down to will power.

Ok off my soap box now.

Im slowly catching up.

Marihoochie is perfect, and I mean PERFECT for those under going chemo therapy, and are so sick they do not eat or cannot keep food down. In some cases very thin people undergoing chemo can die not from cancer, but from undernourishment (FAT PEOPLE RULE!!!!)
A thin person on chemo can wither & be lost.
I've seen it many time working in Certified Nursing and Hospice and my own friends.
The cute little thin firend got ovarian cancer, the worst a woman can ever get, there is no test for it. It wrapped around her colon & stangled it, and upwards into several intestines before she felt BAD, weak...
Byt the time she had surgery & went on Chemo she was a big 100 pounds. I so envied the cute little 50 year old...not anymore.
She dropped 5 pounds a week until her son & I got together and made her every meal with pot butter.
Alot she tossed...oatmeal was all she could eat...her life depended on eating, she was a mere skeleton, eyes sunk way in...hair falling out, puking.............COLD.
Pot butter saved her, made her hungry enough to get her to eat. That was 3 years ago, and she is alive, cancer free & a stout 120 pounds now !

Very nice Ron, even with white eggs.

I did well on Monday. 5 eggs from 3 hens. Both the EEs layed 2. Never had that happen before.

My dad had esophageal cancer really bad, but it didn't kill him; he died of starvation because he couldn't eat. All he could take was cola and Tang, and sometimes I mashed some food for him, but he hardly kept it down. Maybe a tablespoonful a day. He couldn't swallow, too painful, and the tumour too big.

He was 6' 2" and weighed about 80 pounds when he died. I wish we had done the MJ instead of the morphine. Having said that, the morphine did help keep the pain away, for a bit. Who knows how MJ would have helped.

(Of course, he was in Scotland, and the care there is totally different. 3 Nurse visits per day and the doctor came 3 times a week!)

Lessons to be learned.

It still could have been brought to him, on herself in a wrapper, as butter.

More notations:
On babies fresh out of the incubator::::::::::::::::::

I make Quinoa "cups" for them. Cook Quinoa as the same as rice, 2 to 1.............after it has cooled, stuff a small cup & then invert to form a quinoa cup:

Then you give it to the babies on a plastic lid..........

Within 20 minutes these brand new babes ate every spec of Quinoa.................far better protien than chick feed. Full of immolients & fluids. And impossible to ignore!

They hated the camera flash though~~~~~~~

Imp I have had a few fresh hens start out & lay 2 a day...amazing!
I was worried that she would burn herself out (hens only have so many ova) but at 2 years she lays 1 a day now, and behaves herself~~~~~
