How do you give a chicken a vaccine?

it depends on the vaccine, some are made for drinking water, some are shots, some are eye drops.... which vaccine are you thinking about?

well what a long day, I got all 3 birds washed and blow dryed yesterday, and you know what?? they are still damp! hows that for some fluff... they even spent the night under a heat lamp for more drying. they are all settled in. I helped set up cages and attach cage cards, should be a nice show, doors open at 7:30 they announced so see you all there!

OK CR I will tell ALL !!!

Two weeks ago I tried to catch my rooster ,Ricky Retardo. I had him cornered in the barn, but when I went to grab him he flew over my shoulder and all I caught was air! I felt a burning feeling in my left forearm. To make a long story short, I tore my bicep and I'm having surgery on Wednesday. The doctor says I will be off work for 3 months and it will take 8 months to heal so I can do heavy lifting. He says I probably won't be able to go back to my regular job (mixing dough). So when I do go back to work, I will probably have to take an easier job with not so much heavy lifting.
Are you happy now CR? Now all BYC knows.

So sorry to hear Ron. Please take it easy! I'd be more than happy to come by to clean coops or play with your chickens or whatever

I also found this cute press on nail polish at Walgreens on my way home this evening. It is silve with little chicks on it! I had to get it for tomorrow!
I am sure it's for Easter, but who cares? It fits the occasion.
