at least today I do not have to suffer dry eyes in class like i normally do.

a twisting pain in my gut
the sky is crying today too

Last night i broke up with John.... we both don't want to. but I want to see what dating other guys are like (there is a guy Ean that i like). and John needs to work on getting healthy.
Its hard to do that when you love some one so bad.

-sigh- chickens have it easy. They don't have to date or have super complex emotions.

It is weird. almost 4 years we have been dating. it scares the h*ll out of me of life without him always there.

we are not mad at each other or anything. we plan to be friends at least and still talk.

It will be weird having him no longer living in the basement at the house. I don't know when he or my parents plan to have him move out.

I wish i had my dog or chicken to hug. These emotions are not fun.

I am sorry R!! Hang in there!! Most of us have gone through this, I have and so has my daughter! It's not fun and hurts like hell but it happened for a reason!! There have been several occasions when I have told my daughter, just try to be by yourself for a while. Learn about you, about not being confined to a relationship or the emotions attached to them! I had to do this on several occasions and it's liberating and gives you confidence in YOURSELF! Take care ! and of course this is only MHO

Yep I have one just like it!! ( dad used to have a Pizzeria) Works awesome!! I have a plucker I bought and haven't used it yet!! Terry thought it would be faster to skin?? But, then you don't have the skin to moisten the food while it cooks!!

Yes I want the skin I have a rotisserie and it cooks so much better with the skin on. I think it also adds a lot of flavor. I am saving up my coffee money to get me a plucker...)

So sorry - breaking up is never fun no matter what age you are. I think it's only when a lot of time has gone by, (like up to 20 years!) that you can often see it really was for the best. Stay strong, be good to yourself and a pat on the back for both of you seeing that this may be a wise choice so both of you can grow a little...

She is just about the prettiest "oops" chicken I've ever seen. I LOVE that partridge coloring! Or, I imagine I would if I could see her. Very effective camouflage.

Hi everyone. I don't live in Washington State. I live in Indiana. Don't chase me away!!!

My husband may be getting a job in Seattle. And my biggest reason for being afraid of the move isn't leaving my friends behind. It's leaving my rural lifestyle and not being able to keep chickens anymore.

Are there any rural areas within an hour's drive of Seattle? We would love a home with small acreage (we currently only have 1.5 acres), but I'm wondering if we will be able to afford land in Washington. I have never been to the state, but it seems pretty citified around Seattle. This scares me!

Sorry to bother you all. I was not sure where I could post and I'm feeling panicky about possible life changes.

Well, there are plenty of place near Seattle that you could have a small, rural type of home. Lots of peeps on here. They can tell you more, since I'm a relative newcomer myself (from California) But, I LOVE it here.
