Yep I have one just like it!! ( dad used to have a Pizzeria) Works awesome!! I have a plucker I bought and haven't used it yet!! Terry thought it would be faster to skin?? But, then you don't have the skin to moisten the food while it cooks!!

We have skinned our chickens for the last three years. This year I think I am going to borrow CL's plucker. All the chicken gets de-boned before I freeze the meat. I tend to use most of the chicken in casseroles, so skinned chicken works fine. But still I want too have some whole birds, to butterfly and cook on the BBQ, and to do that I have to have a chicken with the skin on.

Nope not at all, I am saying that some people (not anyone here of course!) get them because they are medium size, and think they can toss them out in the back yard, don't socialize them, and never give them a job. THEN they become insane, biting, neurotic freaks. Not the dog's fault, the owner's fault.

I have 7 Silkie Chicks that are old enough that I just added them to the big girls coop. They have been living in the garage in my large brooder pen. I am willing to sell her 3 or 4 of the chicks. I can take pictures tomorrow.
But will you be at Stevenson ? ? ?

I don't know. I will ask DH tomorrow. If he goes, then we be able stay with our friends that live up in Carson. Last year DH ended up in Japan, after the Tsaumi, so I didn't go last year. I would love to go, because we used to live not far from Stevenson. I would love to get an ice cream cone from Top Burger, in Camas. They have the best vanilla cones, that I have ever tasted.
