Dotty, Dolly, and Fritz are listed on Craigslist. Maisie, Carmen, Roz, Ginger, and Lulu are heading to the Palouse this afternoon. It's going to be quiet here.

Thank you! They are italian greyhounds, about 8-10lbs. We have two more, four in total - they are SO hard to get a picture of them all being still and together. They are always extremely active, zipping around the house like little mini racing greyhounds LOL.

Italian greyhounds - yes - that was what I could not think of. They are just gorgeous. Husband and I (for years) thought of getting one (greyhound, italian, whippet - someone of those). We have always just had dogs find us though so we never did.

My full grown ducks STILL eat bugs - dunno what';s wrong with CL's bugs.

The reason why is because the no-see-ums are microscopic little devils...mere gnat-like critter that bite like hell & itch far worse than a mosquito.
They are TINY TINY TINY !
I have seen chicks, a few weeks old, jump & chase them, but older birds & ducks pay them no mind at all.

Oh I know! Its going to be a huge adjustment for everyone! Ive noticed that the closer we get to Emily's arrival, the more Chloe regresses. Her speach has slipped, potty training is still working, but she's very stubborn about it, she fake cries like a baby, ect. Nothing overly extreme, but noticable.

Oh, already she has noticed your pre-occupied with other things and is mad she is not getting your full attention.
Just waite !

And aren't you glad you do not have to go 2 more weeks !?!?

Just thought I'd pop in a share the really cool egg we collected yesterday(the one in the middle). Not sure if the computer or my camera did it justice. It is a 4 on the Marans color scale when wet but has the prettiest plum colored matte bloom when dry.
And, no, this is not an early April fools!

Illia talked about plum bloom but I can remember which chickens she said would throw them. We do have 2 WM's from her.
We also have a rumpless girl from CL that lays a chocolate egg so I suppose it could be her. It's a mystery!
Hope everybody is doing well.
Ron B- Hope you are healing up fast!!!

Well, we just made some "poison" eggs for the crows. Hope they'll drop dead when they eat them and won't come stealing our eggs anymore.

Himself was going to shoot them, but they have a really crafty lookout guy, who hides in the trees and he's the one you are supposed to shoot first. The spotter crow. Oh well, hope the poison works.

Rumpless from me ?
None of mine are rumpless, but my Cuckoo Marans do on occaison, lay a plum egg.
Actually it 1 or 2 in the flock that always lay a plum egg.
But none are rumpless, I believe Illia had the Rumpless.

Edited to add: VERY NICE EGGS !!!!!!!!!
