This just in:
The neighbors have TWO MORE DOGS! DH went out a while ago to let our dogs out and 2 schnauzers came running up to our fence. The woman who owns the lab and the house said she "saw them running down the street, thought they looked scruffy, so decided to bring them home." DH suggested since they are obviously siblings and purebred dogs that someone is looking for them. They do have collars, but no ID. He said she should look in the paper in lost and found or call the Humane Society. She said again, "Well, they looked pretty scruffy". (I saw the dogs and they looked good to me) So he said again, "You should take them to the Humane Society. Someone is going to be worried about those dogs."
She didn't respond. She just turned and went back into her house.
DH and I put leashes on our dogs, jumped into the car and took them down to Chambers Bay Golf Course so we could walk the dogs by the waterfront and get rid of some steam.
<- That's me going crazy.
So you need to wait a while than turn them in for to many dogs. I dont think they will stop. But Id sure wait a while and in the mean time give them eggs and tell them how nice they are and how good it is for them to save the dogs. That way they wont think its you who turned them in. And when they tell you whats going on be so suprisedIm sorry but they sound like those kind of people. Oh give the little girls some colored eggs that you dyed yourself. Im sorry Im really not like this but I think maybe I am oh no!!
I love it! What a wonderful plan!
I still like the electric fence idea... just make it so it is 2-3" inside your side but where the dogs would get zaped climbing over... then if they get zapped they were on your property
