Anyone remember the big black orp roo and pullet I had at the Monroe show? Well, if all goes well in 11 days they will be parents. I put 16 eggs in incubator. 6 are viable. Little swimmers. They are so cute. I am hoping I get chicks. He is not the most "active" roo I have ever seen. So I was not sure if there were any good or not. I am so excited now.

I hope all the viable eggs hatch for you!

Well, my ones at the present are kinda half A**...that is why I am getting the serama coop built and then I will build my orp coops. LOL. But you are welcome to look.

Dinner is Saturday and not sure what time. I guess when we get hungry. LOL.
Well darn, guess I will miss dinner.. lol And being that I have no coop, any I can look at is good. ROFL! Do you think I could bring my two EE's over for you guys to look at?? People are saying Flash is a roo, and I am in a panic. With the bad luck we have had. OYE! The sooner I find out the better.. They travel rather well in a cat carrier. ROFL!
Truly, I am not sure I can help. I dont' know EEs that well. how old are they? I might have another lady that could help you better though.
They will be 6 weeks on sunday.. I could any help I can get. I am truly in a panic.

Well the turkey is doing ok. It is drinking water from the waterer and nibbling at the food. I made sure to show it how. Today he isn't as wobbly on his legs. seems to be getting the hang of it. It is pretty exciting. I just wish the chicken eggs would hatch but they are a few days away from that. I swear the incubator is going to drive me crazy with anticipation. LOL. But I am loving it too.

That is great about your turkey!! YAY!!!!! I could not imagine sitting around for chicks to hatch. Oh my heck! LOL

Here are my three chicks celebrating their 5-week-hatch-day. We're still hoping they are pullets. Well, this picture was before they really celebrated out in the greenhouse. We don't have a run yet, so the chicks have managed to take over the greenhouse. Thank goodness for beautiful weather because all the seedlings got kicked out of the greenhouse after the chicks discovered how to fly up on them and sit on them.

Their "birthday gift" was a nipple watering system. I guess that would "my" gift - wouldn't it? No more changing litter filled water containers.

I have a lot of extra seramas. You could have tiney tiny eggs. LOL Besides GPS is not great to bring you to my house. You might get lost and hit someone else's house instead. LOL. Besides, if ever you got over here...Worse case scenerio...I would just feed you BBQ until you could not move. Then you would forget about chickens.
SILLY SILLY girl. I don't need GPS to lead me astray I will leave that for you. I have Aeriel and ground view photo's. And I don't like BBQ.

Hey y'all! Wowza it just took me for.freaking.ever to catch up here! I think I was 12 pages behind and y'all were talking like crazy while I was reading too!
itsren - our EE's look a lot alike! I REALLY hope yours isn't a roo because that would mean one of mine is too. She's huge. I hope Martha does not = Marty

If someone is serious about wanting a weekend project, my DH and I would pay for gas and materials FO.SHIZZLE to get our coop (shed) relocated onto a (built-by-you) more permanent foundation in a good location, plus a new run attached. I could provide pics ahead of time too, for a better idea of the scope of the project.

I have had a seriously busy week and I'm so done. My allergies are out of control (they overtook my DOUBLE Zyrtec plus nasal spray) this week and I'm miserable, as are my kids. I think we need a day inside tomorrow, as we've been outside *too much* if there is such a thing and now we can't breathe. I hate allergies! I feel like death and need to sleep but just had coffee at 7pm and now I won't sleep all night

What does your EE look like? I am in a panic right now over one of mine. OYE!!! Allergies stink! I am sorry! I have had a horrid headache all day thanks to mine.. Hope youall get to feeling better soon!!!!

So, just for mutual hope here, my 'Martha' and 'Lay-a' look EXACTLY like your sweet girl here! Martha is GIANT though, seriously she dwarfs everyone else in the flock, so that's one reason I'm nervous she might be a cockeral. Pretty girls you have! Your RIR looks exactly like my RIR as well. Mine has quite the blah personality though, she's just there, nothing else to speak of. My favorites by FAR are my Buff Orpingtons and Gold Laced Wyandottes.

I feel for you, my allergies are in my eyes I look like a blood shot and swollen, and itch like crazy....all i did was sleep today, I need to get medication soon as I feel it in my ears and throat, but not as bad as you, I hope you and the kids feel better. This is a very fast moving thread.
