Really? I've heard the BCM aren't all that friendly. I had one BCM roo who killed an EE. He didn't stay here long.

Really, all of the one's Ive ever had ( and its a lot more than 50 to start with) have all been very very nice. I have a few hens that are great moms too.

Ron B, CL tells me you are the top bowler from Bikini Bottom. My reflex time is so slow, I just close my eyes and click. Best I've done is 89 once. Any tips for bettering my score??

LOL !!!!!!!!! I don't know if I'm the top bowler on Bikini Bottom ( how did they come up with that name??) my best is 193 my worse is 164. Don't know what kind of scores other people have gotten

Another case of I wish you were closer. I have been looking for BCM's for a while in my area. I would have taken a few of those off your hands too! I also have been buying hens just for their color and for color of eggs. My DH thinks I am looney because I want BCM just for the Dark Dark Brown eggs! OK, our Serama pics:



Here is our whole group of 7 Serama's, plus our Salmon Faverolle rooster from Cloverleaf. His pen is soooooooooooooo close to being done! Need one more day to work on it and out he goes!



This is our "Golden Laced" roo "Goldy" hatched out from stock we got from RedReiner and Jbear.

This is our "Wheaton" pullet hatched out from the same RedReiner/Jbear combo stock.

That is Frizz on the left and Wilfred again. We had 5 Serama's hatch from eggs we ordered from Castle Delight Serama's, and we were lucky enough to get this one roo and 4 pullets!

My favorites are the two tricolor pullets and this white/black one in the middle. The white/black one is Snowflake and this tricolor one is Brownie.



This is the other tricolor, Truffle. Just love their coloration. And they are soooooooooo tiny!!!




And because he's sharing the coop, gotta include some of White Locks, our Fav rooster from Cloverleaf! Jeanine, let me know what you think of him!!!

Someone should acquire that pretty splash boy of yours for their BBS Silkie flock.

He's gorgeous! Is he pretty noisy? Does he crow loudly? Hmm... who do I know that is working on a BBS Silkie flock? Someone here...

I wonder who that could be?!

However, I already have a splash boy. He's from BatCave Silkies in NC and is responsible for getting me interested in the breed.

Yes, he's moving into a pen with his own kind. He's a bantam Salmon Faverolle, and I have another trio that is now old enough to move outside, plus more eggs from Cloverleaf that Kim is incubating for me, so they are getting a coop of their own!
