I have seen his adds on CL for the last three years. I thought about buying some birds and coops (runs) from him BUT he was too far away from me.
Again I think this is the guy VelletFog bought chickens from that ended up with a cold like sickness and the rest of VF got infected by the new birds
I would talk to VF before buying. I'm NOT saying this guy sold sick birds on purpose
40 years ago or more...DH's Dad opened a few pizza parlours, then got together with another guy & opened Round Table franchises, then Dad started the "Brick Oven" franchise.
The he retired and moved to NorCal and up on the hill some guy had opened a PP and called it "The Brick Oven"
I asked him if he was gonna approach the guy and make him change the Trademark name off his sign.....and he said:

"Heck no, the guy might make a great pizza"
Looking at the issue from Dad's old wise point of veiw, the guy had a great business, and a good clientele, so if anything he was ADVERTISING the Brick Oven name.

So this morning I dropped of my cat at the Vet, and they drained TWO POUNDS of fluid out of his abdominal cavity! The ultrasound found swollen lymph nodes. I have the choice of sending the fluid off for analysis; the Vet suspects cancer, but it could also be FIP, which is swelling of the abdominal lining. Since both are fatal, there's really not much I can do for either, and Felix's demeanor hasn't changed at all, he is still the sweet, quiet kitty he's always been. At 12 years old, I figure he's not going to be with us for very much longer anyway. So, we'll cross that rainbow bridge when we get to it.
Darn it!!! I was wondering about FIP, but didn't want to put that out there until you talked to the vet. I have seen kitties with this go on with good quality of life for quite awhile!

They would just come to the clinic periodically to have the fluid drained.
Hope things go well for you and Felix!

OK thanks. I am only looking for pullets right now, not chicks. I wish I could have more chicks but we don't have room! Thanks for the offer though :)

Posting this again in case anyone missed it: I want 1-2 more birds, EEer/Ameraucana (light colored) OR Marans who will lay dark eggs or olive eggs. Must be 12-17 weeks old (prefer older than 14 weeks). Will pay $15/bird and drive an hour from 98042. Thanks!!

Have you talked to WA4hpoultrymom? I think she may have some OE's(Olive Eggers) But I am not sure if they are sexed yet. They are older, but she is having a hard time telling the sex because of their pea comb.
I think the EE's that WA4-Hpoulteymom has left are from her Easter day hatch . That would make them 11 1/2 weeks old
