Every time I turn around they are adding more things that cause cancer to the list. Even the air some of us breathe. So, eventually, EVERYTHING will cause cancer.

Maybe, but I'm not in a race to the finish line! I doubt organic food will cause cancer.

Yeah, changing the water buckets lets me imagine I'm Laura Ingalls and Ma has told me that above all else, be sure the water is clean. So, I imagine myself wandering down to the well and filling the buckets with water that is always "cool and fresh".

I exaggerate. But no, I change the water by hand. I like that I can wash the entire "system" easily. Of course, our flock is pretty small.

Ok where is a good meeting place for anyone interested in cherries?

I plan to leave home tomorrow around 11am. I should be in seattle around 1pm. The destination i am going to is a place right after the I-90 bridge crosses the lake into seattle.

We have the nipple system in the two coops, and plan to add it to the tractors we're building. They'll be A-frames with a run underneath, probably 8x10. How do you plan to put them in the tractors?

The same way. I'm going to build a shelf for a bucket to sit outside the tractor. I'll probably used quick-connect hose attachments to make it quick and easy to remove the bucket.

Everything can be shown to "cause cancer" IF it is researched far enough ! ! ! It's just that some are much worse than others. Also unless you are on your own private water system there is chlorine in your water too.

So, do everyone else's birds take to watermelon quickly, or are mine just the weird hold-outs? I'm having to compost some yummy watermelon because the birds snubbed their noses at it. They don't seem to want anything red... they won't eat strawberries, either.

Organic food probably won't cause cancer ! BUT if you think your getting organic food every time you buy "Organic" you better think again !!!!!! I read an article several years ago about it wasn't against the law to sell non- organic food as Organic under certain conditions. can't recall what the conditions were but there were several. My DW came home yesterday with an article on how bad corn sugar was for you. yep it causes cancer too!

I have a Wyandotte with two seven week old chicks, A Speckled Sussex with two ( two others died) two week olds, a Mottled Java with three two day old chicks and Yesterday one of my Bl Java's I got from Robin and a Bl Australorp I got from Dawn, went Broody on me

Anybody have a dozen Fertile eggs they want to sell me??? I'll put six under each girl !
