How cool! I would really LOVE to check out some of your earrings. Do you have a shop? I will go there right now!
I actually dont. I have a friend that sells them for me. I think shes getting an etsy shop going but I dont think its up yet.

If you re message me your number I can text you some. I have a few pictures on my phone.

ok darn time ran away again!

Roosters all are happy about it since I ran out of time to process them.
So last call for roosters has been extended..... Just let me know :D

I did get the bracing done on the big 8' gate section now just have to drag someone out to help me put it back up again :D
Fence edges (space between my fence and neighbors) will get done next,
then a bit of mortar work with some fancy cement blocks on top of the cement wall to complete the enclose area.
Never worked with mortar before should be interesting......

Anyone want a small mixed rooster to practice with at justbugged's processing class just let me know :D you can stop by and pick em up before you head her way...... just saying..... ::oops: :gig

Hello from Eatonville! I just wanted to put a bug in everyone's ear that I'm looking for a new rooster. I'm hoping to find one with all the good friendly qualities (can catch easly). Not sure on breed though... maybe some help? I found out my new flock is most likley a barnyard mix but I would like to hatch chicks from a few of them eventually to keep things going. I like the idea of mixes, and have been kinda attracted to the green egg layers so I'm thinking about an EE Roo... (a big plus if he is attractively colored) Any other suggestions? Also, I have a need for a roo because of predators so he must be, or mature to a decent size. The current fancy bearded buff laced polish roo only attacks humans... if they turn their back.

One more thing, I cant travel too far maybe an hour drive max from Eatonville. Hubby still getting used to his newly chicken crazy wife!

Thanks in advance!

Hey! Another Eatonville person. Cool!

Have you checked out at Graham Hay Market? They sometimes carry a handful of roos. If not, it's always a fun visit! Also, the forum has a trading section, and several people in this thread mention roos they want to give away. Good luck to you. I wish I could help, but mercifully none of my pullets seem to be cockerels in disguise.

Quote: I would love to use the plucker, but I never figured out how to come get it. Someday I am going to come and visit for the day.
DH said that I should be able to come pick up the plucker after all. It is very unlikely that we will be able to get all the meaties done tomorrow, so I can pluck the ones that are not quite big enough to butcher this week. What day would be best for you next week?

I know that I can't make it on Wednesday. I have to get an injection in my sacroiliac joint. I have arthritis in the joint. I am hoping and praying that this will make things better.

Quote: The Enumclaw Sales Pavillion is another place to find roo's. My expierience has been that the bigger the roo the more they go for at the auction. Still it is a lot of fun seeing all the chickens on a Saturday morning.

For those that don't know me well I am out in Enumclaw. I am in the city of Enumclaw, and it is easy to find the place.

How old of a Roo are you looking for?

Is this a chicken auction at the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion? What time on Saturday?

Old enough to hold his own with 14 full grown hens (and hopefully 2 pullets who will be up and coming hens) who can be bossy.

I have a couple boys I'm intrested in and one is close by. PM me if you have anything I might be interested in.

Also keep in mind a cannot pick up right away, we decided to cull our insane Polish roo (unless someone wants him) that is currently in with the hens and it might be a few days untill hubby can get around to it.

Thanks everyone!
