DH said that I should be able to come pick up the plucker after all. It is very unlikely that we will be able to get all the meaties done tomorrow, so I can pluck the ones that are not quite big enough to butcher this week. What day would be best for you next week?

I know that I can't make it on Wednesday. I have to get an injection in my sacroiliac joint. I have arthritis in the joint. I am hoping and praying that this will make things better.

Too Late, DH os off to CA to put a new water heater in the house down there AND relist the property.
I am going to be here on & off.....mostly off.
We will both be back here by Tuesday, is that OK ?

ChickieLady... if I'm on city water that is already chlorinated, would the bleach solution be recommended for my nipple system, or not?

I have asked many specialists that same question, and they have replied yes.
Due to the fact that Chlorine will evaporate as soon as you use it, especially if in the sunlight.
Within 24 hrs, there is no more Chlorine in the water at all.
You can call your water company & ask them if your water has Chloramine in it.
Chloramine is supposed to be more stable & last alot longer.
When I had the Koi Farm in California we had to be very careful of Chloramine with the tanks, ponds & Aquariums, as it will not evaporate out & would harm the fish.
With Chlorine, you simply let the water 'sit' for 24 hrs and it is then safe to use in Aquariums.

Chlorine in the form of sodium hypochlorite is an ingredient in bleach:

But I think people use the term interchangeably. Chlorine used in pools is not bleach.

Bleach is just a term used by the Laundry industry for the same product.
Common household "Bleach" is called just that as it is used to bleach clothing whiter.
The label on common household "bleach" states it is Sodium Hypochlorite.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your helpful advice and answering my never ending questions. My girls seem to be getting better already, they've been on the antibiotic (Denagard) for 2 whole days now. Because they were sick for SO long in their short lives, do you think I should definitely do the whole 5 day dose?
