Hmm... "Going Commando" means something very different to me I'm guessing. Because this conjures up a very peculiar picture for me.

Usually means wearing no "under-things".but in this case it is no gloves.

Well, I just dropped my 10-year-old off at church. They're driving him and a huge van load of kids to camp. He's never spent a single night away from us and we just sent him off to spend 7 nights away from us! He has been to quite a few camps (through Camp Fire USA and Cub Scouts), but we've always gone with him as leaders. All week, he was having such a tough time with going away without mom or dad, but I still made him go. DH was about to cave in - but I wouldn't let him. I didn't want DS to think that he could get out of doing something just because the thought of it scared him. I managed to hold it together - until the van drove away... then I spent my drive home

. Now I just feel numb and depressed. I hope he finds that he enjoys camp.

Just waite, til all your kids go off into the world........mine did at age 14 (to his Dad's) and daughter at age 17 (also to Dad;'s)
Dad was then working 16 hrs a day at Boeing, and I was building a cabin in N. ID....................Dad's was DISNEYLAND to my kids.
So off they went & I was suddenly alone................................empty nest syndrome is very hard to deal with.
Very hard !

One should also never sit outside with their dinner while the chickens are out and about. They will find you and do their very best to forcibly take your food away. If you're bored and need entertainment, you can always chase a family member out of the house while they're eating and release the chickens. I highly recommend it.

RedReiner is in the UW hospital, with severe intestinal strictures, due to Chrones Disease...............she is very, very sick !
She has had to be tube fed for a while..............

I am very worried about her, I have been talking/texting her and they just took her into some scan room....I imagine a dye/cat scan...........................she will no doubt have to have intestine strictures removed.......please everyone say good thoughts her way !!!

Celiac Disease is a bummer..................but Chrones Disease SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!

Went good BUT ............. We broke lots of expensive parts among the group. Lucky mine was pretty minor. Poor jbear, her Banshee (quad) became epileptic yup had a MAJOR seizure !!!! Best part of the weekend was that Saturday we got Diane to drive her rail around the campground.That also put her name in the pot for not getting stuck or having to be towed. AND SHE WON the $$$$ !! ! !!
Warning be ware or waterfowl gasious escapements. They are dangerous good and may sneak up on one.
