Yes I took that as joking. I would love to sell you some of my work. But just because youhave my work doesn't keep yer birds safe from late night shopping trips.

So I was a bad chicken momma today. My girls never got out of their run. But, I did get a new toy for them when I stopped by Reber Ranch. I bought a little ball that has four holes in it and scratch falls out as it rolls around. DH asked me why I put an apple in there - said they were rolling it all over the place. I didn't see them playing with it, but I'm glad to know they got the hang of it quickly.

I'm considering installing a chicken swing... but I have to think long and hard about that one because Drama is so good at hurting herself.

I decided to try that instead of putting scratch in the run. They just eat scratch off the ground... never scratch at it. I figured I'd make it more difficult to get to it. Hopefully they'll finish up that bag of Chick Start and Grow if they had to work for their treat. I can't use the suet feeder until Caunnie's beak and pad above it heals, so I had to figure out something to keep them busy.

I read through this. I'm sorry to hear that you have been bothered about your chickens. It's ridiculous how chickens get such a bad rap. I hope the problems get worked out for you.
