Can chickens eat leftover popcorn? I thought I'd heard of someone giving it to their birds but I would think they'd choke on it. My golden retriever told me he'd eat it if no one else wanted it.

I gave some to mine yesterday. Then seemed to like it

Yes chickens can eat popcorn. I wouldn't give it to them if it is salted.

I dont know about "leftover" But I have an air popper and pop mine some every now and then. They go crazy for it.

Thank You Greg.. for posting the info about Cle Elum. We have family in that area (Roslyn) and we were just talking about the fires and looking for info on it. Was cool to pop in here and see info to go check out..

My kid is at a horse camp near Roslyn. I heard yesterday that they were well away from the fire danger. Hope that is still the case!

I just went out to scoop the poop shelf in the coop and found an soft shelled egg with just a membrane around it up there! Someone must have pooped it out in the middle of the night!

At least it means they're getting more and more ready to lay! Didn't get any eggs today, bummer. Though I guess they won't be going to bed for another hour, so perhaps there's still a shot. Doubt it.
