...you have your first dream about your chickens and one of them is egg bound; and you save said hen and all the hens rejoice by laying 3 eggs each that day.

We went to the bank yesterday & submitted all paperwork.....now we waite.
Hopefully we get the loan & get the house "buttoned up" for winter, and then we can do the interior work !

FINGERS CROSSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the mean time, knee is getting better, I can barely bare weight now...crutches are going to break my neck..birds are all fine....dog fine, Einstein has a very sore back.............and our wells are getting sloooooooooooooooooooooow......need rain !!!!
I want rain for the water, but also want no rain til after the roof is one.
Afraid we do not have the time to waite for water, wells are sloooooooooooooow.
We are lucky though, quite a few out this way have dry wells already...another reason to keep fingers crossed

Anyone else have a low or dry well ???????????

Hello fellow washingtonians! i from Ellensburg Wa, which is half an hour away from yakima and two hours from seattle.. i was wandering if anyone was from Ellensburg either my friend and i allmychickens is from there to! also, does anyone have ducklings for sale? preferably white tufted and swedish ?

Hey all, My wife and I will be over there on the WEsT side 20th-30th of this month, making multiple stops between Portland and Blaine but will mostly hang out north of Seattle. Heck, we'll even be driving through that wide spot in the road near where CR lives...assuming I don't blink and miss it.

Does anyone know of any chicken related events, shows, fairs (with decent chicken exhibits), etc. happening? Or how about a meetup for coffee, lunch, whatever? Would love an opportunity to actually meet some of you.
