Man, I take a few days off from here and I'm FIFTY pages behind. Not even going to try and catch up.

I have TWO Blue Laced Red Wyandottes (thats what the sign at Monroe said

) that are Eleven weeks old. I put them under my Speckled Sussex when her eggs didn't hatch. I want to get rid of them as SOON as possible, they are FREE to the first person that comes and gets them. Don't know what sex they are

Today is the DW (can't think of her name right now, it will come to me) and my thirty fifth anniversary

We are going on vacation in two weeks and I want to get rid of ALL my babies!!!!!!!!!

The DW has always wanted to take a vacation down south. So I booked SEVEN days at the Motel six in South Tacoma

she will really be surprised

Maybe? I can't remember. This past week or so is a blur with all that's been going on, and I've barely started my coffee this morning. (My son let me sleep in, yay!)

If it was me, thank you for posting them! I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I have finally worked out most of the birds I am getting. I couldn't find a Polish, so I am going with lavender Orpingtons instead. I hope I have a good hatch rate.

Why? Do they have quills like porcupines?

I just loved how little it was - and those cute little puppy-dog ears and nose. Never seen (or smelled) one in real life though.

They are very stiff and prickly but not super sharp or loose like porcupines. They don't stick in you.

OK, gonna turn the cute factor up a notch...my very first LF black Faverolles chick hatched today.....

TOO CUTE AND LOOOOOOVE THE RING!!!

Let me get through my trial next month and I'll let ya know. Me and my chooks could be in jail soon.

You know you're beginning to be obsessed with chickens when...





...you have your first dream about your chickens and one of them is egg bound; and you save said hen and all the hens rejoice by laying 3 eggs each that day.

My Lord, I can't count how many dreams I've had of my chickens being threatened by a predator (once by a giant wolf, and I love wolves) or that I've forgotten about them and they've been out of food and water! I am definitely a worrier!!

Hello fellow washingtonians! i from Ellensburg Wa, which is half an hour away from yakima and two hours from seattle.. i was wandering if anyone was from Ellensburg either my friend and i allmychickens is from there to! also, does anyone have ducklings for sale? preferably white tufted and swedish ?

I'm from the Tri-Cities, so a couple hours the other direction! I wish I had ducklings, but I have yet to convince DH of their benefits!

Anyone want to come help me fold 2 weeks worth of laundry? My usual laundry fairy hasn't done her job in weeks!

Oh man, you beat me to it!!!! Looooove Celtic knots. I think tattoo artists are sick of them though! They can't be the most enjoyable ones to do. I've been planning a knotted cross in color for the back of my neck.
