Don't know if the sale still going on but Del's had a great deal last week on it if you want more. Winco usally has a good price also.
In winter time great to place straw down in their run and throw seed in it. Keep them busy all day.

In moderation. I was just told this last week! Now I can finally use up the old bird seed I've had no use for in 3 years since I bought it. I'm just gonna toss it in their scratch container and mix them together really well; they only get a couple of my small handfuls each day anyway, so it can't be that bad for them in small quantities. I think the protein levels in those types of bird seeds are actually better than in scratch too, so that's great!

Well I just got done at the Dr. for my shoulder/neck, for the second time in a week. Kinda bummed at the initial findings. I guess I just need to keep in mind there are others who are dealing with worse issues.

I know how you feel! Hoping for a good recovery for both of us, somehow, someday.

OK so thanks (to CR and whoever else commented) for the recipe advice w/ the ground beef. I did find that we had a pound of ground beef, but the recipe also called for a pound of ground turkey (gag me, I've never liked it) so I think I will sub the ground sausage meat for the turkey; should make for a nice flavor I think! And it won't be ALL sausage, so it won't be too strong. Woot! I'm so looking forward to using my neighbor's huge zucchini in these meat balls for dinner tonight!

I just talked about the 5-HTP a couple posts back...now that I've been taking it full time for several weeks, I don't feel like I'm drowning. For the first time since I had kids I feel like I can finally tackle meal planning and cooking dinner every night. I'm loving it! If you haven't tried it and feel the same way I did, please consider trying it!

If you mix the ground turkey with beef you will probably not even be able to tell !!! I do that a lot.

That's how I've been keeping mine busy all through the morning and early afternoon, by your recommendation last week! I piled in quite a bit more straw to keep it a little cleaner in the run, and each day I toss in some scratch/seed all over the run. It sinks down in and they scratch for it all day. Thanks!
