Ok now I'm caught up AGAIN!!!!
So since I have read alot of posts, now I can't remember who was asking about the chicken diapers! I don't have any of those weird kind of birds but I do have wonderful, glorious, fabulous, beautiful DUCKS!!! 1 of my ducks (Daffy) wears a diaper quite often. She has had a diaper since she was 4 months old. She loves it, we love it!
Do you have any photos that you could share with me?
My local prosecutor can't believe that poultry can be pets.
It's part of my defense to show that they are.

Here is a dog house I will be using for my new chickens to be quarantined. I am trying to figure out how to make cleaning easier for me to do on my own. The roof comes off, but is to heavy for me to lift by myself, and the only access doors are the 2 pet doors. I was thinking that I would hinge the front roof panel at the top so I could lift just one side up, but how do I make it so it doesn't leak in the rain? Any Ideas?

How about hinging the whole top so that the entire thing tips up and over?

RaZ- Not an indoor poultry pet, but this is my daughter and "her" chicken Ethel; You may use this picture personally in your case but please don't post elsewhere without my permission. All our chickens have names and are, indeed, pets who provide us eggs as well; we have Lucy, Ethel, Martha, Laya, Thelma, Louise, Dartha, Pip, Scarlett, Princess, and Tilda.

If ya hinge the entire roof on one side would it be too heavy for you to lift? I can think of several ways to do it but too hard to splain in test.

I got new sand for the chickens' run.
It's very different from the previous sand.
The chickens are afraid of it.
They were free ranging today, as usual.
At end of day, they usually enter the coop through the run.
Not tonight!
That scary sand was freaking them out.
I finally opened the coop doors and they flew in to roost.

Sarah and Jane: It was really nice to meet you last night.
So wonderful to put faces to names!
