Hi All!

Long time since I have been here. I have been studying like mad for the first part of the EA exam which I will take tomorrow morning in Puyallup from 7:30 to 11:30. The family will be at the fair once it opens. I'll walk down there after the test, so maybe I will see some of you at the poultry exhibit afterwards. Did you all find non-molting birds to show?

I tried getting molasses water into her but she fought me. She's gone now. Her breathing became quite labored and she started having fluid come out of her nose. Sounded to me like she was drowning in her own internal fluids. She had to have been poisoned, nothing else makes sense. DH and I culled her half an hour ago. It's been a rough day watching her like that and I'm really sad so I'll come back later.

I went out to the garden today with sandwich baggies & picked 4 FULL baggies of Nastie-sturtiam seeds, a baggies of bachelor Button seeds, and another of Butter-Cream Hollyhock seeds...the Pink Hollyhock is not ready to seed head yet...............all in the dehydrator now, on low.

Are we supposed to dehydrate those? Does that help them start better? I just plant the nasties - they seem to come up OK. I haven't tried reseeding any of those others though.

Whats the poultry auction like at the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion? I want to go one Saturday but not sure if its worth it. What kind of information is provided with the birds?

Whats the poultry auction like at the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion? I want to go one Saturday but not sure if its worth it. What kind of information is provided with the birds?

From what I understand the information provided is the color of the bird

Well, I must be a pretty good student. I've been taking lessons from the infamous Chicken Rustler. Let's see... today I managed to rustle 6 fertilized eggs from the Rustler himself for an eggsperiment. And, I managed to rustle a couple of lemon cucumbers and a beautiful pie pumpkin from Justbugged's gorgeous garden! Successful day, if I don't say so myself! Thanks guys!!!!

After seeing Justbugged's chicken set-up, I now have ideas flowing through my brain on a possible larger run. She has a nice, large run in an urban lot.

And, no... DH has no idea I'm in possession of eggsperimental eggs. So.... shhhhh!
