Hi All!

Long time since I have been here. I have been studying like mad for the first part of the EA exam which I will take tomorrow morning in Puyallup from 7:30 to 11:30. The family will be at the fair once it opens. I'll walk down there after the test, so maybe I will see some of you at the poultry exhibit afterwards. Did you all find non-molting birds to show?

And, no... DH has no idea I'm in possession of eggsperimental eggs. So.... shhhhh!

All the recipes I'm looking at are calling for 1 or 2 tsps of lime juice, or just the rind. Can I grate the rind and freeze it in baggies? And, will the juice be OK if I juice it, pour it into ice cube trays and freeze it?

BTW- I didn't know you did Bountiful Baskets too!? We've been getting it for 6 months and absolutely love it. It's the only way we can afford all our produce.

I started a long time ago, and then stopped because I have to be at my pick-up at 7:00 a.m. and Saturday is my only "sleep-in" day. I decided I better just get my butt out-a bed and start going again, because I struggle to find food that I can eat. Gosh, this morning was crazy... set my alarm for 6:00, fell back to sleep. Woke up at 7:00 a.m. on-the-dot... panicked - but made pick-up just in the nick of time. Whew!

Cloverleaf, we aren't sure yet if we are going to the show, but would really like too! If so, I can take Eliz Martin her faverolle for you. I will keep you posted. We will probably decide for sure tomorrow. If we don't go, I have a friend from Stanwood who for sure going, and I could ask him to get him for her too.

Someone was asking about extra birds for processing? I have 4 extra LF cockerels hatched in april free for the taking, but I'm up in Monroe! You are welcome to them if you want them!
