Just for the record. I AM NOT NOR did I intend to imply that I was / am going to risk this. For those who believe in it and those who don't ........... well it's kind of like some of us believe in the jolly old elf and some don't........SHOW THE PROOF either way!!!!

While I hate needles, I would rather have surgery than have blood drawn. That hurts WAYYYY too much. But if it comes to a poke with needle or ......... well lets just say I could suck it up and do the shot.

Dunno, but a single case study is not scientific proof. If it's free, try it, but keep an epi-pen in your back pocket. (Don't sit on it, though. A needle in the rump could be a nasty shock!)

Isn't that the truth! I know someone who had to be rushed to the hospital because she was trying to inject a kid at camp - and managed to get her finger stuck in the needle in the process. Yikes!

I've heard those pens hurt pretty bad - but if it ever came down to whether or not I was gonna keep breathing, I wouldn't think twice about slamming that thing into my leg.

I'd really, really, really rather not have to be in that position though.

OK I picked another 6 pounds of green beans today after VF left~~~




The big container is 1 1/2 gallons...the small SS bowl hordes what I had to put in my pockets after the tupperware bucket was full.
These are ROMAS.............climbing, meaty, no strings and awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so jealous! What a fabulous harvest! I have no luck with beans in my yard and I don't know why. I had sugar snap peas coming out of my ears, but the 25 feet of scarlet runner beans that I planted on an adjoining fence haven't given me a single bean. The flowers just fall off. I planted a few other bush beans in another spot, and while they have given me a few beans they have hardly grown. Oh well, the chicken project has been such a distraction this summer that the garden has been mostly ignored for the past 2 months.

Someone was looking for free roosters?
A friend took a few hens from me tonight and left a big red rooster. Hes about 6 months (she says, and thinks rhode Island Red?)

Hes in a cage right now on my porch...Id like him gone tomorrow
