Sure! Would ya like me to do it one handed to boot???

I hate Comcast...I hate their channel line up & how you just want to watch 1 channel but have to buy the entire "teir" with 40 channels.
I miss my direct TV...we had 1 flat fee, very resonible, and got ALL the channels.

But not sure if it would work well here with so many cloudy days (dish TV as well)
Anyone with Direct TV or dish TV please let me know if your TV service is interupted by heavy cloud cover or rain...OK ???

Ok back to work for me~~~~~~~~~~~

We have Dierctv. It is rarely interupted by weather. What seems to bother it is VERY VERY VERY Heavy rain (not very often we have it that bad) and when we get snow on the dish but that is easy to fix.

Well I have been gone awhile. Death in the family and had to go to Colorado. Close to 500 pages behind, so well, I just jumped ahead.
Unfortunately while we were gone, we lost our favorite chicken. The neighbors who were taking care of the animals couldnt find her one night and she was found dead the next day, next to the fence, her neck broken but uneaten. Not sure what killed her. We have raccoons, coyotes and the builder said he thought he saw a wild cat (bobcat?) but I would think any of those would have eaten her, so I am not sure what happened.
So we are down to 2 ladies, and we get only 1 egg a day . I guess we will be buying eggs this winter still. I hope to get more chicks in the spring. We are enlarging our coop/run and want to have 15 or so, with a run big enough that I don't need to let them free range if we are out of town for a week.

We have Direct TV and we like it. We had some billing issues at first (they were double-charging us) that we had to work out. About the first six months I was ready to can them, too. But the service itself is fine. When we lost power due to snow/ice - we powered it up with a generator. The kids were happy.

Sorry for the loss of your loved one and your favorite chicken. That's a lot to bear.

I'm so sorry to everyone who have lost chickens recently. So sad to hear that so many have lost them.

Just thought I should check in with the group. I managed to have a very bad week.

My life is being warped by my own pain and mobility problems, but I think I could manage them if my husband was not in much worse shape;

Fall always seems to be to be a time when the demands of summer back off a little and it's possible to get a handle on other stuff, but this year not so much.

I am so sorry that you are both having to deal with such debilitating pain. :(
JB, this week is bad but next week I may be able to come over and can help you around the house if you like. I will PM you.
Stumpfarmer, I wish I were closer, I would love to help you out too!

Thanks, I'll get by, I expect; every day I learn to be more efficient in getting stuff done, although stuff like the cow getting out does mess with my ability to do other things.
