I haven't tried this yet, but it stuck in my mind for if I manage to grow tomatoes next year. I was listening to some gardening show on the radio and this old man called in and talked about how after his tomatoes would quit ripening, he'd pull the whole plant out, shake off the dirt, trim off the barren branches, hang it upside-down by the roots in his garage, and the rest would ripen after that. It'd be cool to know if it works .Anyone have a favorite recipe or two for green tomatoes?
How about a favorite way to ripen them indoors?
I have dozens! (Green tomatoes that is, not recipes!)
