Washout with mixed breed marans

I am getting some eggs this week from someone local. They have a frizzled columbian wyandotte rooster and various hatchery hens. One of the hens is a black copper maran. Despite being a hatchery bird, the hen seems to be laying between a 7 and an 8 on the color scale. How much washout can I expect in the egg color of their chicks? Will they still be darker than average or could it be luck of the draw? Also, would I be correct in assuming a 25% rate of frizzled chicks?

Frizzle is an incomplete dominant so half the chicks should be frizzled. Nice article on it http://www.plosgenetics.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pgen.1002748 With the brown eggs, they say there are a lot of genes that affect it, it usually seems the eggs are about an average of what you would expect from the two parents, but depending on the specific birds/ genes you may get more or less.
