Any ideas on how to get rid of wasps without using pestasides. My coop has been invaded.

I am sorry I have no advice- however, I am seriously allergic to them, and will be eagerly reading all replies you get. I went overboard with crack-filler in my little coop in the hopes I could deter them from moving in...

Good luck- Have you tried those bucket things that attract them but they cant get out of?

Eli I have all those things and will problably try that tomarrow

a little gas in a old style pump oil can does the trick.

My grandpa used to put it in a can an hit the nest with it right about dark.

kills them dead. Right now.

Might try early in the am and open up the coop to air out.

Note...no smoking;)

We hit them with a good squirt of 409 (yes the kitchen cleaner).

They drop like a rock when you squirt them; then kill them with a fly swatter.

Dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle. Doesn't even have to be dawn, just a nice and thick soap. Shake it up, turn your nozzle so it will shoot a stream, and spray away!!! When/if they fall, stomp them!

The benefit of this one is that it's just soap and water.

I realize that this will not help your current situation, but it may help in the future...

I have been told that if you paint the underside of an area sky blue, that (most of the time) wasps will not try to build a nest. Seems they seem to think it is actually sky, or something to that affect.

We will be trying it this year on our porch and we'll see if it is really true.

Good luck!
