I have a wasp nest in my coop... got me three times in the forehead today.

What's the safest way to get rid of them without harming my chicks?

Wait til dark and spray it with soapy water. Fill a cup full and toss it if you don't trust how far a spray bottle will shoot.

I suggest a night spraying, using Dawn dish liquid and water. Move slowly if you decide to do this during the day, it just feels like rain to them. It's the sudden movement that make them leery. Good Luck!
