Hi, so this seems to be the go to thread for this kind of thing. I have a chicken egg with a hole in it -basically like the "windows" in these experiments- set to hatch within the next day or so. It was cracked by accident around day 15 so I decided to see if I could save it and also do a sort of experiment of my own. Once the hole was clear of shell chips I hot glued a square of plastic over the hole -I know probably not the best, but it's what I had. There wasn't much to see besides veins and shadows by day 15, but at least it survived. "Crash" is now breathing normal air and waiting to be able to hatch out. I'd like to post pictures of him and the other strange happenings that invariably occur when I hatch eggs, however I've yet to figure out how to do so on this site.
